That's wasn't an open poll, it was a group of 20 people, which is also meaningless statistically.

What are early results showing in terms of who the public think won? I went on a few websites to vote, and Variety shows it split, and Time has Trump leading...

Online polls are utterly useless. This forum is also not a good indicator, since most of us are fairly young, have above average intelligence, and are more educated than the average voter (as in, hold a degree). In other words, we skew left.

That was a pretty "really?" moment.

Another that was head-scratching for me was how he kept doubling down on how he got Obama to produce his birth certificate, like it was some great achievement.

It seems lost on him that it didn't need to be brought up in the first place.

Yeah those two wars and unprecedented tax cuts to the rich had nothing to do with it.

...those two wars had nothing absolutely nothing with the housing/financial crisis that caused the recession....so yeah they literally had nothing to do with it,http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/01/29/an-iraq-recession/ I would question whether or not the Bush Tax cuts had much of an effect on the crisis as well. I know that Obama cited Ezra Klein in a campaign ad against Romney claiming that and the Post (who Klein worked for at the time) had to come out and say Obama was misrepresenting the article.

Just to be sure, we checked with Klein, and here is how he responded: “I am absolutely not saying the Bush tax cuts led to the financial crisis. To my knowledge, there’s no evidence of that.”

Bush did pass TARP though that was continued by Obama that effectively ended the recession and stabilized financial markets...

If this holds and polls show Trump start to fall...I'm scared about what he will be like in round 2 of these debates if he feels he has nothing to lose.
