The withdrawal agreement was signed by Bush, Obama would have liked to have slowed the withdrawal but Iraq wouldn't let them. If the US didn't withdraw as agreed then Iraq would have ended the agreement which gave the US jurisdiction over the prosecution of off-duty US troops that committed crimes while in Iraq.

Obama used the withdrawal as a talking point in his campaign and re-election. Democrats were applauding that Obama was getting us out of Bush's wars....even though legally it was Bush. Obama used it to his advantage and was celebrated by Democrats.

Now, Democrats are blaming Bush, including Hillary last night, for withdrawing troops, which created a vacuum for ISIS.

So, we are back blaming Obama for ISIS again? Last I saw the illegal invasion of Iraq by Bush was the reason for ISIS, the withdrawal of US troops was if you remember a major desire of the American people, no one wanted our troops to stay, we were promised by the Bush administration that troops would be withdrawn, that Iraqi military was prepared to handle combat operations on their own, yes Obama held true to that withdraw, as part of his campaign promise, which again was the will of the American people, ISIS was created long before Obama came along, remember the war was never supposed to be in Iraq but Afghanistan where Al Quada was and that was the place Obama had to rethink withdrawing troops as the Afghan police and military could not handle insurgents on their own, even today, I do not see the Afghan military being capable of protecting its own country without US and Nato troops.

Actually I'm glad Lester just let Trump ramble on and on instead of keeping him in check. Gave him enough rope to hang himself, so to speak.

I just wish he had kept hammering away with the facts when Trump or Hillary lied about something. Maybe a huge screen to show quotes.

That's what we need! Real time fact checking of the candidates as they debate! Maybe about a minute or two delay so the facts can be shown as the candidate is talking. That way, when they lie, they get busted right away.

So we're saying Trump will double down on Clinton in the next debate. :o

Basically yeah he'll just interrupt her every chance.

They should've let Jill and Gary sit next to Trump and Hilary. Maybe with baby high chair like podiums to make this crazy campaign even MORE entertaining. :o

Watching the debate right now.
"China and Mexico steal our jobs"
And his tie is made in China.

For the other debates will it be the same or a different moderator?

Anderson Cooper is doing the next one.

Donald mocked Hilary for not doing anything about the economy for thirty years, but he used those thirty years to fill his own pockets.

I laughed when Clinton said "I know you live in your own reality" and the audience is "aawww"

The both suck.

Donald is in way over his head and everything that comes out of Hillarys mouth is a spin and a lie.

IMHO .... We're so ****ed.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't basically? Even if you choose not to vote, you're ****ed regardless so hey.

Which a odd thing for Trump to say given he is pro-free market and pro-globalization when it comes to his own business.

Those jobs are outsourced by corporations. Most of the jobs that are outsourced aren't that great anyway. Unless Americans want to work long hours for unlivable wages that will still keep them in poverty I don't think they should be too upset about a low skilled manufacturing business going overseas.

When people profer this opinion I just think they have paid zero attention. This is exactly the attitude that contributed to Bush's win in 2000. Well there was a difference. There was a choice. Too many made the wrong one.

What's the alternative? Welfare?

Trump mentioned wasting money on Middle East, then spoke about how to spend money on the same region.
In one hour of debate he contradicted himself more than once.

No, Im of the opinion that they both suck because I am paying attention.

I dont rely on the 3 biased outlets for my news. Neither is a good choice for this country.

Obama wasn't going to honor that promise though. He was in negotiations with Iraq for months to leave 10,000+ troops in that country past 2011. As Hillary stated last night Prime Minister Al-Maliki said American troops were no longer going to have immunity from Iraqi lawsuits and prosecution and he wouldn't budge. They basically used that as leverage to get us out of the country because they knew we would never have our troops subject to Iraqi law. I think they naively believed their army (that we trained for 5+ years) could handle security in that country but they rolled right over at the first sign of trouble and Iraq has been a sh**hole ever since. Everyone likes to blame Obama for leaving Iraq early and ISIS but forget that little fact until Hillary pointed it out last night and that's the first time I've heard anyone point it out.

It's pointed out now because it's an issue. Obama touted the Iraq withdrawal as his goal 5 years ago to applause but now they blame Bush for the crap show there. It is Bush's fault but my point was how the left pivoted from taking credit to giving blame. Can't have it both ways.
