I really wonder why Whedon didn't put Ant Man in this and as a creator of Ultron?
he could be just mentioned...like dr banner was mentioned in thor...
Hoping they don't go too far with the Oedipus Complex he has. Fine with him hating Tony. But don't really need to have time spent on Ultron taking an interest in Pepper.
Whoever creates Ultron should have already been introduced for the storyline to have maximum impact. If it was going to be Ant Man they should have had him in the MCU by now or delayed the Ultron storyline till he was part of the team ahead of the film in which he creates Ultron.
As it stands now, Tony Stark's character is absolutely ****ed after this movie. Stark is going to be almost single-handedly responsible for the weapon that almost brings about the end of humanity, and he's going to do it with blinders on and come off, in hindsight, looking like the dumbest and/or most evil S.O.B. on the planet. Joss has painted Stark into a corner that he cannot, and will not, get out of --- you don't get forgiveness, or atonement, or "oops, sorry" for committing global genocide. Tony Stark and Iron Man will necessarily be gone from the MCU by movie's end.....yes, the dreaded Joss Whedon character assassination has almost certainly fallen squarely on RDJ's shoulders.
So basically this is Iron Man 4: The Age of Ultron and the Avengers too........
I am starting to feel a little Iron Man fatigue and from what I have seen on the boards others feel it too. I also do not like how Ultron and his drones look so busy in their designs. They remind me of Bays' Transformers and nothing should ever remind me of that horrible experience again. I am however excited about Scarlet Witch and her addition and look forward to Banner's, and Hawkeye's characterizations.

All three Iron Man movies should have taught Tony Stark from the get-go that everything he's about to undertake is a very, very bad idea --- fighting wars with drones, relying exclusively on easily hackable tech for global defense, using imperfect AI to control things that shouldn't be under control of imperfect AI. Tony has literally taken three steps forward and one giant leap back without thinking this whole "Ultron Initiative" through. And it's going to literally destroy his character.
Because Hank Pym is a relative unknown in regards to your normal movie-goer and who knows if Edgar Wright would have reacted if Hank Pym was introduced in Avengers 2 and not his Ant-Man.
Plus it kind of plays better if Tony Stark creates him. They already planted somewhat of a seed of the the Ultron concept in IM3 with Tony having pilot-less suits. This would be the next logical step Tony would take in the evolution of the suit.
