No you can't, unless you're suggesting you can control the subjective opinions of everyone on the planet. Because what is "bad"? Who determines it? You? What kind of monster are you? Perhaps you are the one who is bad.

People are way too concerned with these review ratings. At the end of the day, they don't matter. At least, not to us. They surely matter to the studios, or people with a tangible stake in the film. If you liked the movie, or disliked it, that's the end of it. The only review that matters is the one that has been made inside your head. And most importantly, we have no control over what other people think. So why worry about it? These reviews aren't sport scores that we can brag about to the other "team". Because there shouldn't be teams in the first place.

I thought Last Jedi was OK. Decent, with a good number of high points, and one noticeable low point that dragged the movie to a halt for me. Do a lot of people dislike the movie more than me? Probably. Do a lot of other people like the movie more than me? Sure. And that's ok.

You're all wrong about Man of Steel tho. Fite me 1v1.

Not gonna lie, Marvel vs DC has been a rivalry since as far back as I can remember going to the comic shops when I was a child. I legitimately enjoy watching DC's s*** movies get crappy reviews for two reasons.

A) Said fanboy war ingrained in me.

B) Crappy movies deserve crappy scores.

That being said, I would be more than happy to support great DC films as soon as they get around to making them (WW being the exception of course).

If a movie gets a crappy score, whether it deserves it or not, it has no bearing on your life. Your reaction to the movie will be the same. So I don't understand why people care so much. I mean, I do understand, because it's that whole team rivalry thing that people have instilled into every possible media product in the world.

I just want to say... THE ABYSS was a film I rather disliked upon first viewing. The theatrical cut is also underwhelming for some reason but when the director's cut came along... It's truly one of my favorite sci fi films of all time.
