I liked TFA just fine but it felt safe. I don't know what this controversy is about but I'm glad they apparently did something unexpected.

I haven't been a true fan since I watched STAR WARS: EPISODE IV (this was before they added A NEW HOPE to the title) 20 some times at the theater back in 1977. Yep....I hated the franchise.

I thought the twist was hilarious, enhanced even more by the football reference. But equally I would have loved to see a badass Mandarin (and Kingsley looked the part) who would have been a very different type of villain for Stark to face. It would have been great if we could have got 2 versions of that film.

Yeah, certain people keep trying to compare it to BvS, when it's basically Star Wars' own version of IM3 (Which I also loved, even though I still wish for a "real" Mandarin) I am SO happy I stayed unspoiled. Also, ANH was the first movie my dad saw in theaters and he loved TLJ. He'll be so bummed to find out he's not a REAL fan. :whatever:
 
That last one would be me, too. :p
 
It's morbid, but I've found the one advantage to kidney failure is I don't have to get up for the bathroom during movies anymore.

Today I was the bottom one too, lol. Luckily I'd already watched it in full so I mad-dashed when I knew I could.
 
I was offerd free Star Wars tickets today and I didn't take it. Shows you how much I care about this franchise.:awesome:
