Catman, to mangle a line from the first Pirates of the Carribean movie, "You know nothing of Suspension of Disbelief."
There is no way Smallville can violate Suspension of Disbelief on this.
No one must tell people how the world doesn't know Clark Kent and Superman are the same person.
Even my neighbor who had Down Syndrome could grasp Suspension of Disbelief. His IQ is below 90.
It's quite telling when even someone suffering from Down Syndrome can comprehend and understand why Superman and Clark Kent are two different people, and why it cannot be explained.
I haven't seen him in 12 years, but I'm certain even when he was 8 years old he would understand.
Asking Smallville to explain the reason insults not only all the fans of the show, but means they must be functionally ******ed in order to have the concept of Suspension of Disbelief destroyed utterly.
Also, Bruce Wayne,
Smallville has taken alot from the Silver Age but it's used stuff from all eras of comic books which means everything is valid. In this case, more importantly than any comic book, is that Smallville is placed in today's age. Check the pilot and you can see for yourself.
Which means Secret Identity is valid. Maybe not all aspects of the story of course, but a huge chunk would be. You should check it out, I'm sure you'd love it and would understand why I'm recommending and saying it's pertinent to SV.
I don't think you understand my point. They can't address the fact Superman and Clark Kent are two different people.
Not even Secret Identity can do that.
Addressing that fact, in any age, in any time period insults the intelligence of people on orders of magnitudes.
Bhohard, Darkseid is not a *****ebag. He would not do that.
Also, why would you want Smallville to do that?
Tom Welling would have to go and fake his own death in order to escape the fan outrage for that.
The bottom line for this season, nothing done on the show can violate Suspension of disbelief.
Marvin, Darkseid is coming to full materialized form in a few more episodes away.
Be patient. It's not my fault Smallville had to do the stupid VRA storyline.
Although, it was totally Darkseid's fault that the VRA started. So, yeah, he has been influencing things.
she's there for the target CW audience(the way the write her anyway)
I don't understand this argument.
There's nothing wrong with Clark Kent and Lois being together.
I honestly don't understand your complaint.
They are destined to be together.
It is unstoppable fate.
What is the problem with them being together? I'm really not getting it. I'm serious here, you're the first person I have ever seen on the entire internet to not like her and Clark together.
