new Palps is too pale, too puffy, the color of the eyes are somewhat off...

at least with Revill, he's covered in shadows, which make the differences are much more subtle.

i guess i dont see what you do......

Ian owns whats his name

It's the hood. They should have used the original costume...

Here's the thing: I love ESB. Revoke my snob card. I don't care. I just love it. I think it's not just the best Star Wars movie, but one of the greatest aventure movies ever. I honestly don't think there's a bad moment in the whole film.

So, despite my hatred of the changes to the trilogy... I refuse to complain about ESB. At all. I just can't bring myself to do it. I love all the slight CGI adjustments, and the Emperor is too small an issue to gripe about for me.

I've seen nitpicking but this is the worst. The 80's version was a woman. Atleast the revision is the same actor :o

It's also the lighting. He looks like a deer caught in headlights. It's too flat, there's no modeling or definition. They should have matched the lighting with the original shot.

With something like this, where Ian obviously looks much different now to how he did in the 80s, they should be trying to hide him as much as possible, not blasting his face with harsh, flat light.

i guess lucas is trying to fill anyloose ends or gaps to connect the movies perfectly.
Bulls**t. Accents aren't genetic, they come from your surroundings. An orphaned Bobba would have lost the accent by the time of Empire.

alll the changes are great......

the emperor scene is def better.......i hated how the original looked NOTHING like ian.....

what was the line he said?

I guess no one else is gonna answer you. I suppose I will.

The new line involves Palpatine telling Vader, "I have no doubt that the young Rebel is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker." That's not a direct quote, but something along those lines.

I thought most of the Empire changes were the best. Definitely better than the other two. I really like the new Emperor. He does seem a tad off, but I don't understand all the negativity.

As far as Boba Fett's voice, it's not Morrison's voice that bothers me, it's his delivery. Whoever did the voice in the original had such a cool way of speaking. I would argue that perhaps Boba installed some kind of voice alteration device in his helmet, which would allow you to keep the original. :)

One last thing I'm glad they fixed was the stupid recycled scream Luke does after jumping. They used the Emperor's scream from ROTJ (at least it sounded like it) in the 97 SE, but fixed it back for the DVD.

Now all they gotta do is change the damn lightsabers back to red. No more of this pink bull****.

If I had a crappy Kiwi accent, I'd do everything I could to drop it!

A poor attempt by me at making the makeup match.

Gamma Ray, your sig reminds me of a hilarious moment from According to Jim (not a great show, but this particular moment was great)...

Jim: Never presume. Because when you presume, you make an ass of you and me.
Wife: That's not how the saying goes.
Jim: There's a saying?

:D

HAHA! I'd never watch the show, but that's funny!

WOW! Perfect! If they made a CGI version of that, or something, I'd be completely content. Even though the dialogue was f**ked.
