I was 7, when I first time saw it.

Now I cant even remember one scene from this movie, but now I am going to buy one of the parts of this trilogy.

What is your opnion about those movies?

It's been some time since I've seen the original I have to go back to it again.

Evil Dead 1 was interesting in straight horror approach, and the tree rape scene in my opinion is classic. But it's too straight edge horror.

Evil Dead 2- Was the perfect balanced, Ash had a couple of catchy lines but wasn't a complete goofball, great horror, along with some great humor, and some good action sequences.

Army of Darkness- Good, but not amazing, it's quite flawed, but if your going buy it get the region 3 Director's Cut version the image quality is a 100 times better and features more footage.

Thanx for your advice.

As what I read from reviews and saw in trailers, I will buy The Evil Dead 2.

It looks like excellent horrow movie with funny humour

Army Of Darkness is one of my all time favorite movies. I'm going to get a movie poster of it soon. I have all 3 movies and there all good.

Best movie trilogy of all time. Not that I'm biased or anything at all, seeing as I have a couple of Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness posters up all over my wall here, and my icon on a lot of other forums tends to be a shot of Ash getting strangled my his own possessed hand. :D But as far as the individual movies ---

- Evil Dead - Kickass horror and gore, but Ash just wasnt..."Ash" yet. :o I would've liked more humor, but that wasn't what this one was shooting for.... overall my least favorite of the trilogy, but still a classic.

- Evil Dead II - Best ****ing movie ever. 'Nuff said. ;)

- Army of Darkness - Almost, almost as awesome as EDII.... it just needed more of those Evil Dead I and II style gore scenes and flying eyeballs to balance things out better.

I saw Evil Dead 2 first when i was like 11, and while i was watching it was like saying "My god this movie is brilliant!" Later i got them all on VHS then the dvds when they came out :D been a fan for years great movies  I really dont want to see a remake of Evil Dead :(

tied between 2 and Army, 2 had the balance of horror and comedy, but Army had all the catchphrases

I enjoy them all.

Loads of fun and to misuse a movie critic cliche "It's fun for the whole family" :D:up:

My vote goes for "The Evil Dead" I always prefer the first part of a trilogy

there was continuity probs between 1 and 2...

thats my only prob.

Since it's the only one I've seen, I have to say Army of Darkness.
