He looks as bewildered as most of the people who saw that poster and said, "Who the hell is Hemsworth?"

I bet most people are still thinking

"WTF thats not Thor"

Especially when the trailers only show their last names

^LOL Awesome,It's going to be so great seeing JCVD in the theaters again!!

Unless you count Kung Fu Panda 2, JCVD is the only action star I haven't seen in a theater.

Not old enough to go or just not a fan??,My parents took me to see his films..By HS he had his last theater film with"Universal Soldier:The Return"!!

Too young. I was born in '88. My dad would take me to R rated films occasionally, but sadly I never got to see a Van Damme film. I used to watch them on TV.

Interesting thing about that Van Damme poster. It's a negative.

If you look closely, you can see that Van Damme's forehead lump is on the wrong side.

A negative or not I still think it's a beautiful shot!

Yeah, it's an awesome poster. I just think it's odd that they did that.

It happens all the time, even in the films themselves. Christian Bale has a mole on his nose near his eye and if you look closely you can see it flip sides sometimes in his movies lol.

JCVD's poster is also my fave. He was probably my favourite along with Arnie when I was growing up, so I'm most excited to see him in this.

Here's a fun question... if you had to rank our boys behind Arnold who would you have as your top 5 action stars from their heyday in terms of popularity.

I think my list would be -

Sly
Bruce
JCVD
Seagal
Dolph

Well, to be honest, that's a hard one for me as I dont see all of those guys all in the same group/list in the 1st place. For me, it's basically Arnie, Sly, Van Damme and Dolph in one 'larger than life, muscled up' 80's/90's action stars group whereas the likes of Willis and Seagal are more of the 'everyman' action star.

Jet Li / Jackie Chan

I thought Arnold was the most popular action star with Sly not too far behind. Unfortunately Sly fell off after making Stop or my mom will shoot. Bruce Willis is up there but also a better actor. Jet Li is considered a badass but I feel like Jackie Chan might of opened doors for him for American audiences. JCVD was very popular but not for very long. I think Street Fighter ruined his career.

I like Dolph but in terms of popularity he was never in the same league. If Seagal was I don't remember but that also seems unlikely.

I've always preferred Sly over Arnold. Huge fan of the Rambo series.

BTW - Love all of those posters.

Arnold
Arnold
Arnold
Arnold
oh and Arnold

:o

Booker "The Lone Wolf" (played by the legendary Carlos Ray 'Chuck' Norris) is a one-man military campaign, and a new member of the #DirtyDozen.

Like this post if you're excited to see what kind of damage he will unleash in The Expendables 2. Coming to theaters August 17th!

Now that sounds so awesome. I'm VERY EXCITED about Chuck Norris role in Expendables 2.

That looks about right. A 90s Expendables back then with those five alongside Arnold would've been amazing.
