Alas, old age. I am 40. I have had quite a bit of pain, seemingly more than I should since the X-ray shows I have it only mildly. I went for an MRI yesterday to see if there is more going on there.

When do you get the results of the MRI?
Don't you hate when they can't tell you what's wrong and what makes it worse is some think you're drug seeking or just plain crazy.
I hope they find out what's wrong so they can make the proper decisions as to how to remedy.

I got the results back today. They said I had a "mild" case of osteoarthritis in both hips and nothing else wrong which is good news. But the thing is, if this "mild" case already sucks so much ass, how much worse is it going toget later? I'm such a baby when it comes to chronic pain.

You have every right to be concerned. So does that mean you're low on calcium or you need to take supplements or something? Are they going to give you some nice pain pills? I may need to take some,I lifted some heavy stuff today and my back won't stop. My doc gave me a arthritis prescription that I never filled,I'm in such denial.
