Actually, I think the resemblance to Samual Jackson was deliberate. If they ever make a live action Ultimates movie, Jackson will have to play him. It's his destiny.

It wouldn't be so bad if the characters weren't so out of character. Logan sees a gal and falls in love on the spot and then proceeds to act like someone else. I have treid to tell her this but her vison of Logan and mine aren't exactly the same.

Yeah. Have you ever seen "The Villiage"? In that Jouquin Phoenix plays a serious man who has difficulty expressing himself. He is in love with a blind girl and he tells her not with words, but with his constant, silent presence, looking over her and keeping her safe. That to me is Logan. He won't tell you directly, he will just hover unobtrusively, being there at your call, but not getting in your way. Looking out for you. Something like that. In this fanfic, he is practically falling all over this girl, breathing down her neck. It's too aggresive for him.

This author needs to read one X-Men issue with him in it, I say.

She has seen the first two movies (and probably the thrid one by now) and it's a movie fic, but she said she has read only just three or four comics. I think some more research is in order. But. Even if you argue that it is a movie verse fanfic, I still think Logan would not be so aggresive. She has an OC in her story (a made up character or "other character") but this new girl has no depth. She writes too fast. I have a lot of OCs in my story but I've taken the time to flesh them out. I've even been complimented on how well I've spelled out just who they are. They are not Mary Sues or flat, static people. Her OC was imprisoned for 20 years, yet none of that time has been touched on or explained. It just happened. If you want my sympathy, you have to do more than simply say "imprisoned for 20 years." I want flashbacks and nightmares and scenes showing me what happened. I thought maybe this author was going to do that, but so far it hasn't happened.

I remember several years ago when I recently became a new X-Men fan b/c of the movies and bought this huge encyclopedia with all the information on every single X-Men characters and storylines from the comics. I started writing the scripts for X3, X4 and X5. I think I was about 11 or 12, I dunno. Looking back, it was pretty crappy writing, lol.

Yeah, but still, I had lots of stuff writing them. My teachers thought it was a great idea and all.

That's sad. He died a hero, saving the boy. I officially hate Gwen's mother, even though I don't know her.

Why do I get a tingling feeling that Captain Stacey may die in this SM3 movie and Spider-Man will get the blame?

Because I think that's been the traditional plot line with Captain Stacey throughout all of the Spidy universes. Spidy gets blamed for stuff he didn't do becuase others misunderstand. Jonah has a lot to do with that too.

Yeah, that must be it. That reminds me, in this one New Avengers issue, Captain America invites Jonah to the Avenger Tower and he sees Spidey. They make nice and shake hands. And after, what'd the bastard do? Continue slamming Spidey.
