I can't get my comics until Thursday becuase we have a holiday and the mail will be late. I'm only getting two books anyhow, so it won't upset me.

Yeah I'm talking 5-6 months worth of comics, mainly X-Men. I've got most of the Cable/Deadpool run (which I had to cancel a couple of issues ago ) waiting to read as well as most of the major X-titles.

Nope, it's monthly. Think about it, Tan's art is so detailed. It's gotta take him a while to draw it all.

I hate rain. I had my hearing aid turned off and still felt a loud rumbling. I assumed it was the bathroom door shutting hard because of the strong wind.

How well can you hear without it? My mum uses one as well.

Not well. I basically hear nothing without it. My right ear is dead without it, but if I put a headphone near my left ear with the volume turned up to the maximum, I can hear the audio fairly well.

Sorry to hear that. Is it from birth or illness/accident? My mum is deaf in one ear and partial in the other.

Don't be. My hearing disability is from birth. It took nearly two years for the disability to get noticed. My aunt noticed that I didn't move or get startled when she put me in her car and when the car engine started, so she suggested to my mom that I should get checked.

The rain just won't stop. I just heard a thunder. Hopefully, this surge protector will protect my computer.

Have you ever had a blow out on your PC from lightning? The only thing I get is a dodgy cable TV signal (sometimes it cuts out) during bad storms.

Oh, yes. It happened last year when I was recklessly playing my computer during a major thunderstorm WITHOUT any protection. Just when I was turning it off, the light fuse inside my screen blew. I thought I smelled smoke. The hard driver was fine, but the screen wouldn't switch on and we had to get it repaired. Went through a week without the internet.
