Boycott XVerse and go back when X4 starts rolling.

They upgraded the software (without telling me in advance or after)and now there is this new infraction icon under each user's name. I PMd both Matt and Ted politely asking WTF is that? No answer. So the next day I went to a banned user's old post and clicked on it. It came with a window that allows me to give a user an infraction point for some misbehavior -- signature abuse, trolling, ect. I can even select how long this infraction point should remain. The user then gets a message saying they got a point and why. That's all the info I got. I would like to know what is the point? Do other users see it as a deterrant? Does x amount of points lead to a ban? What? I PM and PM and no one answers me. I go to Matt's other board and post my question in the tech help forum of that forum to get someone's attention. Matt says oh, yeah, I told Ted to get back to you on that. That was two days ago. I have heard nothing. This begs the question -- If I can't get an answer to a simple question, what response will I get when something big happens?

As tempting as that is --I am really mad--- I post my fanfic there and run a elims game. I'm just being a baby because I have this silly notion that you know, I am somehow important enough to have a question answered.

If you ask me, I don't know what it is. I see no point in having infraction icons. That just negates the entire purpose of moderation. Why not just fire all XVerse moderators when they're at it?

From what it looks like, I think Matt and Ted are avoiding you just for the sake of laziness.

Matt said they were really busy. I just resent the idea that I am always there so folks turn to me for stuff, and I have no one to turn to in response.

Matt and Ted have two boards, the Xverse and an FF board. XVerse was first and had some posted signature rules -- no pictures, just like here. Fine. FF starts up and has no posted rules about sig pics. Some folks belong to both forums. Sig pics show up at Xverse. I tell folks to take them off, enforcing the posted rule. They ask me why FF has them and not Xverse. I PM Ted again and again and again and again asking him what he thinks. Should this rule be enforced? Does he want to change the rules either there or here to have consistancy between the two boards? blah blah blah blah f--king blah. I NEVER FROM HIM. AT ALL. Fine. I post an announcement saying the sig rules are as they are since the forum rules state them that way. Whatever. The point is that I should not have to wait for a non-answer to a simple question. Grr!

If you're that angry about it, why don't you just quit moderating at XVerse? I know you post your fan fics and elims there, but you don't have to be a mod to talk there post-moderator.

Endeavor if you can believe it, but he's even more of a no show than Ted and Matt. I really am all alone. It's kinda like it's my board without it really being mine. Sad huh? What's funny is that even if I wanted to bail as a mod, I don't know if anyone would even hear my tiny squeek of protest.

I dunno, I'm probably just bloated with my own sense of self importance. I'm crabby and the Hype is being buggy. I'm gonna bail and go to bed. Hopefully I won't be such a sour puss tomorrow. Later.

Well I haven't heard from Matt or Ted and I don't think I will so...whatever. I am so disgusted it isn't funny. I don't want to boycott the board because if I did, there really would be no one watching over things. Ted hasn't even logged in in over a month, three weeks for Matt, months for Endeavor. Sigh.... I'm just really really disappointed.

Is the board becoming relatively inactive now that the film has been out for a while?

Yeah, it's been pretty dead, but there are about six of us who still post here and there. The games and fanfic/fanart section gets new posts every day. I really don't do much as a mod becuase it's been civilized. I've only had to warn one new guy because he was being a bit insulting in his posts. That's about it.

I noticed that you now regularly post on the CS forum, just like you said you would. I'd only just started posting sitewide yesterday instead of bunking myself in the HP board. I must admit, it is rather nice over there.

Not specifically, but folks there have posted a thread here and there. It would liven things up perhaps but since I am not an administrator, I can't set up a comic specific forum.

Yeah, I like there quite a bit especially since I go to the movies every week. My fanfic is also getting a good amount of views there.

I can't remember the last time I went to the movies. Probably due to the fact that there haven't been ANY good movies out lately, but there is one movie I'm particularly interested in that's just come out two days ago.

The Ant Bully, starring Nicolas Cage, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streeps and Paul Giamatti. From the looks of it, it looks like karma bites a boy back for wrecking havoc upon a colony of ants, turning him into the size of them. An exterminator is hired and chaos ensue.

Nope, I see a green box. I haven't seen it but my sister saw that movie and really liked it. You should go. She said it was very funny and sweet.

Sure, I will. Maybe sometimes midway into next week, depends on whether if I'm a zombie or a vampire.

Furthermore, I feel tempted to watch Monster House again, but only for the first half. I don't know about you, but I didn't really like the second half with the house chasing the kids and them exploring the inside of the house. I found it to be dull and unexciting. The first half, however, ROCKED.

I liked the whole movie, I thought it was great. I don't normally like kid movies but Monster House was good. We are going to see Open Today, that looks good too.
