I am hopeful. I used to be soemthing of a pessimist when it comes to movies, but I am getting spoiled more and more by CGI. Things I thought would never be possible -- a cool looking Venom -- are now made possible by CGI.

In between big movies chat threads are great to hang out and to keep in contact with your friends.

I'm counting on that. I haven't been here long enough to know what it's like to be inbetween movies. The X3 forum was just gearing up when I came on. I am curious just how dead it will get in there. Maybe the talk about the Wolverine spin off will keep it from dying completely.

I've been around for X2, Spidey 2 and FF, after a while all those forums died down a lot. Threads getting closed and stuff but there's always another movie coming out, so people just hop onto the next Hype

I usually go into lurker mode then, but I think I'll stick around this time. Made some friends I wanna stay in contact with.

But the World Cup is coming up and that gets me even more Hyped then a Marvel movie

I'm sure they do, I just mostly watch American Football with my husband. he's a big Patriots fan. Sometimes I watch the Red Sox. That's about it.

Same goes for me on Amercian Football, Baseball, Ice Hockey etc.

Soccer is sport number 1 over here. The whole country is slowly getting into a WC frenzy

It becomes a matter of life and death

The positive side is it brings people and countries together. Like the USA soccer team playing against Iran. Or the 2 Korea's appearing together on the Olympics.

To bad that soccer has a lot of hooligans, that's really negative.

I've heard some scary things about soccer crowds. Fans rushing the field, balconies collapsing, folks setting cars on fire outside. I think I would be too nervous to go to an actual game.
