The Fear Of The Wrestling Thread Is Far Greater Than The Wrestling Thread Itself - Part 151

Very true. Whereas Vince ignored the internet, Triple H is using it to their advantage, and it gives both him and Bryan more heat. You can almost say it's Triple H vs the IWC at Wrestlemania this year.

And yep, both Bellas have improved. Even Cameron, despite her cruddy in-ring work, has a nice DDT finish.

It is, the angle is the fans vs WWE management on a grand scale, with Bryan representing us and Triple H representing them. It's part of the reason the angle ios so hot, it's interactive.

Cameron hits a nice DDT but she's the worst worker in the company as far as having an actual match goes, I felt bad for AJ when she wrestled her at Elimination Chamber, '89 Flair couldn't have carried her to a decent match.

Enzo needs to manage someone as he is very entertaining on the mic. Enzo could probably get Ryder back over if he was paired with him.

They could be a trio, WWE's equivalent of the BroMans...

- It’s said that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal for WrestleMania XXX may end up on the pre-show, which seems like a waste for a match that was announced by Hulk Hogan and features several top WWE Superstars.
:whatever: It'sa a 4 hour show for ****s sake!

- The “Occupy RAW” angle with Daniel Bryan last week was done to troll the fans who claimed they were hijacking RAW in Chicago the week before. Some of Stephanie McMahon’s lines in the segment about disrespecting her family and how she owns Bryan were said to be more or less how she feels about CM Punk right now.

:hehe:

- We noted several weeks back that there was a plan in place for The Miz and Dolph Ziggler to form a new “disgruntled” tag team. Now there’s an idea for Zack Ryder to be thrown into the mix.

It would be a waste of Ziggler, as Pinky has been saying CM Punk has left a -giant anti establishment, brash cocky face with a chip on their shoulder- sized hole on the roster for Dolph to fill.

The Sting comments are very interesting.....

As for Triple H vs. Bryan, I am 100% certain that Bryan wins.

Same here. If he doesn't win both matches it would be one of the biggest mistakes in the history of the business. It's pretty much so predictable that HHH might arrange to have their match right before the main event so in the event Bryan wins, he would basically have to wrestle for 50-60 min straight. They do need to do as much as possible to heighten the suspense of Bryan winning without making him look like another Super Cena.

- There appears to be plans to bring back the Los Matadores into the main tag-team scene in the near future. Following their victory over Ryback and Curtis Axel at WWE Main Event, the Los Matadores were pushed as possible tag-title contenders due to the win.

- During recent promos, NXT star Adrian Neville has been knocking his physical appearance and making fun of his own accent. Apparently the creative idea for Neville is for him to be somewhat of a NXT version of Daniel Bryan.

knocking his appearance? Dude is effing ripped.

I laughed when Neville called himself an elf man creature

I'm assuming they'll keep Neville as champion and have him look strong, as well as get more exposure. If Bryan wins the title at Mania, then a few months from now they could do a WWE Champion vs NXT Champion match. Bryan vs Neville. Promote it strongly too. Could be something that yanks the attention of both the casual and the hardcore fan. All Neville needs is more popularity.

EDIT: On second thought, that might not happen. NXT is the developmental brand.

Anyone else find Sting's comments very interesting? I know I did.

Vince probably wont allow it as he was even against Sandow singing as it's a gimmick that Aiden English uses and he didn't want a main roster talent looking like a development talent, so I doubt he'd allow a guy being pushed as WWE's #1 to sell for the development champ.

Shouldn't that have been the other way around? Sandow was a main roster guy doing it first, no? Why not stop the developmental talent from doing what was already being done?

WWE Diva Layla returned to the ring last night in Waco, Texas for a Live Event. This is her first match since September 2013. It was reported that Layla was given time off for personal reasons and health issues. Many backstage officials were not sure if she were to wrestle again. She teamed with Alicia Fox in a losing effort against Natalya and Eva Marie.

Yay! :awesome:

What were his comments?

What did Sting say?

Slushy's post from the previous page

- Rihan of the Road to WrestleMania 30 blog in the UK attended Sting's Q&A show at Camden Highlight Club in London last night. He noted that Sting got a great ovation and was very tight lipped about his future but it appeared that he's signed with WWE based on some answers that were given. A playlist from the Q&A is above and Rihan passed along these highlights:

* He want to face The Undertaker in his last match. He's not interested in fighting other opponents in WWE or independent promotions

* He was on YouTube doing research by watching the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels match

* Hasn't watched the TNA product since he left, but has been purposefully (his exact words) watching RAW for the past few weeks

Other highlights:

* Mentioned his three favorite matches were vs. Flair for 45 minutes at Clash Of Champions 88, his first World Title victory and Starrcade 97 vs. Hulk Hogan

* Mentioned he disliked working with Vampiro in WCW & he wasn't fond of working with Robocop

* Mentioned he didn't feel that Hogan took his spot when he joined WCW

* Rated Shawn Michaels & Kurt Angle as top two wrestlers

* Credited Scott Hall for giving him the idea behind the Crow look

* Responsible for Goldberg joining WCW as he used Lex Luger & Sting's Atlanta gym

* Disappointed about not having a proper feud with Bret Hart in WCW

* Sting couldn't remember who the Dangerous Alliance were and doesn't follow the product so was unable to mention a favorite match not involving him

:wow:

Sting also said:

* He wishes he could have had a longer programme working with Samoa Joe

* When asked about whether The Ultimate Warrior had contacted him on inducting him into the Hall of Fame he said that he still talks to Ultimate Warrior every 2-3 years and keeps in contact, but they haven't spoken in a couple of years, so it was about time...

* When asked whether he had heard about, and would consider working for, Jeff Jarrett's new rumored promotion, he simply replied: "Yeah... I would"

Yay! :awesome:

The future mother of my future children! :hrt:

Good thing about Sting & Warrior being back on good terms. Last time, Warrior talked about Sting back in 2009, he didn't have anything nice to say about him!
