That's what I thought. Does naming a video 'viral' actually make it viral even when no one notices it?

The video was painful to watch. Certainly not something I would share with my friends and say: "You've got to see this!"

I honestly believe my friends would think I had lost my mind if I shared that video as if it were something special.

Yeah, it just seemed kind of boring. I get the feeling that Marvel Studios wouldn't allow somebody Josh Trank to pull what he pulled during the making of this film. Three strikes. Fox is out. A reboot to a failed IP isn't going to do well at the box office unless pre-release reviews are great which isn't the case. Fox should give up at this rather than have a toxic asset which won't generate any revenue for them but will cost them a good chunk of money every eight years while hogging a slot that could otherwise go to a profitable film.

Don't get me wrong. People like sci-fi movies like 2001, Interstaller and Gravity but I don't feel like Fox was capable of making an epic sci fi film with the FF characters and they still have the AVP universe where they can deliver a great sci-fi film with rights that won't expire.

A thought after reading something in another thread.....from the trailers, you seem to see Johnny doing and saying more than Reed. Do you think that will be the actual take in the movie...or are they pulling a bait and switch like they did with Jaimie Foxx in STEALTH years back?

For those that don't remember or didn't see....back in 2005 when the Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel, and Jamie Foxx movie was being promoted....the trailers and Tv ads for it made it look like the stars in order of importance for the movie was Jamie Foxx, Jessica Biel, and Josh Lucas. Jamie had just won an OSCAR for RAY and had been nominated for one for COLLATERAL....he was super hot at the time, so of course the studio made it look like he was the star of the movie....[BLACKOUT]but he died about a third of the way into it[/BLACKOUT].....so I'm just wondering how this movie will play out.

This suddenly reminded me of the fact that about the one time we have seen emotion from Kate Mara in the trailers is the bit were we see her crying while she appears to have Johnny in her arms. (For a second while writing this I wondered if it could be Franklin that she was holding but the hair indicates its not).

I have a feeling it's going to be her irritated with Johnny's attitude for most of the film, he nearly dies, she's all sad over his body and admits she cares more than she lets on, he wakes up with some snarky one-liner and she glares at him.

With Tranks Sue there is nothing, she is the opposite of the original.

But she would make a great Emma Frost with her cold b*tchiness.

Yeah. That's what I took from it. He said something along the lines of being taken in by Dr. Storm, there's no reference to Victor's past and he's almost part of the family or words to that effect.

Sounds like he'll be like Barry Allen to Sue's Iris West... no, Johnny's Iris West from the Flash TV series since Sue isn't even an actual offspring herself.

I think the use of the word Quantum is a catch all for any movie company to explain complex physics to the clueless masses. At least the explorers in this film aren't traveling to 'Planet X'

This film seems to share a lot of elements with bad films.
