Justice League The final after credit scene. What does this lead into?

Lex and Deathstroke after credit scene: will this lead to the Injustice Team right away, or will we see him as Batman's main foe? Or is this a story arch they haven't planned out exactly, but wanted to leave us with some kind of teaser?

Too bad it likely won't lead anywhere since JL bombed. I mean the pieces are basically in place to form the Injustice League (I like the Secret Society name better).

Aquaman gives you Black Manta, Wonder Woman 2 gives you Cheetah, Shazam gives you Black Adam and Suicide Squad 2 can give you some more villains (a Flash villain? Joker/Harley).

It was an odd choice because it felt like steppenwolf was the appetiser to darkseid's main but whatever, I love the injustice league. I was hoping they would start with them but maybe it's good for the heroes to be established first

I was hoping to see a reveal of Darkseid, just to connect him with Steppenwolf.
I guess I could see that happening at the end of MoS 2, assuming there will be one.

That's the thing. One would imagine if you tell a story about New gods and steppenwolf, Darkseid and Apokolips are next. And yet they went into the Injustice League territory. Very Intriguing. When JL was supposed to be JL1 and JL2...was the injustice league their original plan too? Or was it Darkseid?

man, i hope we do get a legion of doom vs JL.
but with how the movie's doing so far at the BO, maybe we'll never get that.

i'm more bummed that we probably won't see darkseid and apokolips though.

I try my best, already bought at least 5 tickets for the next 2 weeks and got a couple of friends too who watch the movie.

It doesn't have to lead to anything, at least not right away. Look how long Thanos has been in the works, Infinity Stones have been showing up or being even a small part of solo movie stories for nearly 10 years & multiple films, similar story to when Tony Stark first showed up in the post credits scene of The Incredible Hulk.

All DCEU teamup movies should be shelved for the foreseeable future & each character should have at least 1 more solo movie before another JL, Suicide Squad, Legion of Doom or any collaboration movies are put into motion again. DC needs to start fleshing out their universe, building characters & their supporting cast & stop trying to skip 10 steps in a feeble attempt to start raking in the sort of money the MCU's teamup movies are making.

I even freaking bought the popcorn tin (they were hiding them in the storage, d***s, and the cups were sold out, haven't seen that for a while)

I've only seen JL once but might go again at some point during it's run, but the showing I was at is the most filled I've seen a movie viewing since The Dark Knight..

That of course is meaningless because I was only at 1 of roughly 10 showings that day in this particular cinema & the others could have been empty for all I know.
