Guys I typically dont speak my opinion on here but i cant take it anymore, i totally disagree with Yelchin, Johnson, Lerman, and the rest of this short list. I think that they should just recast Tobey Maguire and make him look younger i mean guys he IS Spider-man no doubt about it..everybody needs to just open their eyes and see how genius he is in this role, COME ON!

I think the people suggesting yelchin looks like peter parker are seriously reaching. if you want to say he should get the job because he is the best actor, that's a fair opinion but let's not make out he looks like peter parker, he doesn't.

Neither does Logan, for that matter. Hair in the face does not make an automatic Parker.

Thanks for totally disrespecting my opinion..in my opinion tobey maguire is one of the best actors of our time especially for his roles in spider man 3 and seabiscuit he got snubbed at the oscars for those performances..to me he will forever be SpiderMan and this reboot movie will be a small skid in the SpiderMans movies boxers unless they recast Tobey..but dont recast kirsten dunst cuz she was pretty annoying...

Anton does look more like Harry and Logan looks nothing like Peter. But that doesn't matter.

In terms of acting,they can both pull off Spider-Man.

Anton is the better actor however.

This just in...Tobey Maguire isn't a good actor. He gives all his lines flat and monotoned.

It's no secrete I want Yelchin for Peter. But I'm sorry, that kid looks just like Ultimate Peter.

I'm just glad we're not talking about Donald Glover anymore.

With Peter it wasn't about how good looking he was. It was about his confidence and charm after he was bitten. Lee had Ditko draw Peter as not the best looking guy ever. But it was his confidence that made women be drawn to him.

And these look comparison are getting ridiculous. There is no specific look to Pete except the brown hair and other little features. But there is nothing specific about it. Comparing the actors faces to the different renditions is ridiculous. As long as you feel him as Peter.
