When did I ever try to be an "internet tough guy"?
Why are you so defensive? Your inferiority complex is bringing me down, man.
You guys really just want spandex on all of your superheroes, it's all very homoerotic.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea that Gustin's Flash costume is somehow "loose" or "baggy".
I don't think anyone wants to see "spandex", we just want superheroes to look like friggin' superheroes. Why's that so much to ask?
Don't question him, Question, KS is OBVIOUSLY the only one who actually cares about The Flash here.![]()
Depends on the material and design. Take a speedsuit, give it the New 52 Flash design, and I don't see how anything about that would look silly.
Why does everything have to be spandex and 100% lifted from the page? I'll tell you why. It's because you see these characters as yours, and as soon as someone tries to put their own stamp on it (you know, as is their right) there's uproar. The Flash is already the fastest thing on the planet, I doubt slightly baggy clothes is going to affect his top speed.
Superheroes don't look like superheroes if their costumes aren't skin tight?
In live action, skin tight costumes almost always look terrible. Spider-Man is really the only exception, and that's just a testament to the costume's design. Why is it so important?
Dude's wearing a costume with a mask. How does he not look like a superhero?
To the tight speed-suit enthusiasts, are you all aware of the visible bouncing flab that would occur while running?
No matter how lean a runner is, there is always a visible amount of bounce due to the impacts generated from running.
Tight speed suits just make the bouncy flab even more visible.
