I think Reverse Flash is clearly the big bad this season.Who he'll be, remains to be seen.

^ I can't answer your question, but did want to point out that we know that the Rogues - or st least Captain Cold - aren't going to be "Big Bads" (at least not for Season 1), and I don't think Reverse Flash - whomever it turns out to be (other than Wells, since we know it won't be him) - is going to be either.

Unbelievable. :whatever:

Gave this episode a 5. Not a huge drop from the last but it held my interest less. Hopefully next is better.

and Vandall Savage, he could be a villain for both him and Arrow

I'd rather see Abra Kadabra with the Rogues than by himself. I want the full classic lineup (Abra Kadabra, Heat Wave, Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, Golden Glider, Trickster, Top, Mirror Master, Pied Piper, and Weather Wizard). Not necessarily all at once, but I want them to rotate in and out of the lineup like they do in the comics. Maybe 5-7 of them together at any one time.

As for big bads, obviously we've got one of the Reverse Flashes this season. Next season should be Grodd, then maybe a Rogues team up.

Beyond that, they could do Blacksmith's Rogues.

Or a few of Jay's enemies together in a group (Shade, Fiddler, Thinker, Turtle, etc).

Vandal Savage, Anti-Monitor, Superboy Prime are general DC villains with some good Flash history too.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I'm not feeling this show at all. The writing is really weak and the acting uneven. Tom Cavanagh is good, though.

The Flash can dodge bullets, but can't dodge punches or people running towards him? He can't do something to save someone who's falling to their death?

The Flash is a noob. He has no idea he can do stuff like run on buildings or water stuff & is clearly taking things easy right now

This show is amazing. I'm almost sad this Flash wont be the Justice League Flash.

10/10 Brilliant and I'm a Marvel guy but this is better than S.H.I.E.L.D.

I'm wondering if they are going to do Firestorm (my favourite DC character).

I'm enjoying the heck out of this show. Yeah, there are some cringe-worthy CW moments, but the positives vastly outweigh the negatives. The effects are shockingly good for a TV show.

It's a little early, they might try the vibrating from enemy bit later.
He was punched because of the surprise attack by multiple enemies, and the need for nourishment.
And he can't lift lots of weight with ease when he's not moving fast.

Well, it wasn't a surprise attack at the fight at the end of the episode. The bad guys were just running towards The Flash and he... stood there and started to get his ass kicked. I just feel that the writing is inconsistent when it comes to portraying his speed.

Good episode. I'm glad they wrote it so Det. West is on Barry's side in terms of him being the Flash and that his dad's innocent in this episode. I would've hated if they dragged that on for a while.

I'm actually liking Flash a lot more than Arrow so far this season. Maybe its because Flash is more 'super'-hero than vigilante and its new.

I'm really enjoying this show so far, but I've noticed that they've run into an issue that I've always struggled with when it comes to Flash in the comics.

They have to dumb Flash down in order for his villains to compete with him.

I mean, it really shouldn't have been any trouble for Barry to deal with Multiplex in this, no more than it should be for Flash to handle a large group of normal people, because that's all Multiplex is. The times they had Multiplex mob him was because Barry slowed down and tried fighting at normal speed, and that was just a bit silly.

Unfortunately, I don't know what they can do about it, because the comics have to do this all the time as well. The Flash actually has pretty ridiculous power levels, but that also unfortunately makes it hard to have villains that can compete with him.

I agree with this, but I think its ok for now because we're still seeing Barry just a few weeks in of having powers.

The Cinematic Flash has a Lot to do distinguish itself from CW flash.CW is killin it

Aside from Zoom, Grodd, and the Rogues...who else does Flash have as villains that could serve as the "big bad" of a season?
None I can think off.I think Flash is going to steal from the another heros rogues gallery just like Arrow does

I will be amazed if the cinematic Flash is better than the TV Flash.

Firestorm isn't going to get a TV show anytime soon so use Firestorm villains. Don't just stop at Multiplex.

I'm siding with DigificWriter on this one, it's not Wells.
I paid too much attention to the facial differences from the exposed parts ofo Thawne's face, his nostrils are wider than those of Wells, and his cheeks aren't wrinkled.

Heck, as I type this in, I have their pictures side by side to make certain.

That took me out of it too. I think a big issue is framing, and coming up with ways to take down the Flash. If you have a guy that dodges bullets, dodging punches is... what, exactly?

If Barry had been in a place where we saw that no matter which way he turned with his speed, he'd have been hit/closelined, tripped by Multiplex, sending him crashing, that could have been interesting, if we'd see how, one grabbing his leg or something could slow him down so the others could dogpile him, that could have been something. If we'd seen how with enough multiple simultaneous attackers even his superspeed will get taken down by the 11th guy while taking down the first ten.

As is, we see many people can take down Barry, but we don't really see why, and then we see him wade into a crowd, and the result is... he's tired? Some limits need to be seen to keep the action tight and suspenseful.

Not sure if this has been asked but was it explained what happens to the duplicate bodies?

Wasn't thrilled with the first episode but likes this much better

The science is very much a case if suspending disbelief, like why would the multiplying guy need to rob six guns when his clothes duplicate so therefore one gun should

Starting to actually like Grant Gustin as Barry in this episode. The treadmill scene was kind of funny. Pretty cool showing of Multiplex's powers. I like Detective West being part of the S.T.A.R. Labs team. The final fight scene definitely reminded me of the Neo vs Smith fight in Matrix Reloaded. I wasn't expecting them to kill off Danton Black. They need to build up the rogue gallery as reoccurring villains. Speaking of villains Tom Cavanagh is doing a good job as Dr. Wells.
