There are plenty of bad comic book movies out there, (there's been a few, after all) however, some of them have one or two scenes that, for that moment, relieve the pain of seeing the film itself. I will appreciate everyone's interpretation of what constitutes 'bad' will be relatively different but on the whole on here, we seem to share similar view of what is bad, rather than we deem to be good.

I'll start, I think it's an horrific film, for all kinds of reasons, but this sequence has great horror, great foreboding and you feel Harry's physical pain....

Poison Ivy at the auction/ball was fierce! Mother Nature has arrived!

The group shot of the Justice League after the final battle!

Sandman is born!

Angel refusing to take The Cure!

Psylocke theatening to slit the throat of Apocalypse and Storm!

Psylocke slicing the car in mid-air!

The Sandman vs Black Suit Spider-Man is an awesome action sequence.

The two chase sequences in Tim Story’s Fantastic Four movies are cool.

I love Wonder Woman's scenes in bvs.

Human Torch chasing the Silver Surfer

Kent vs Evil Superman in Superman III. Heck a lot of Evil Superman was gold.

First up big props to @Mandon Knight for a great thread idea, proving that there's always something more to talk about.

Totally agree with the above quotes.

Personally, and I realise no one will agree with me, I love the bit in Superman IV QFP where Supes addresses the UN about nuclear disarmament. Reeve sells it brilliantly, and even though the movie stinks, he's still great in it as Superman. Anyway where Superman tells the delegates he's going to rid the world of nukes.....that gets me every time, mostly because I grew up during the cold war.

Otherwise, there are probably heaps but a few I can think of right now include:

1. X-Men the Last Stand, Xavier's death. For me it really worked, the acting, the build up, the music all combine to make it a great cbm death - not a great film but ballsy to kill off one of the central characters so graphically.

2. Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance, when Johnny is first about to transform into the Rider Nic Cage goes crazy as only Nic Cage can, enjoyed it and the resulting fight scene.

3. Thor the Dark World. Thor vs Kurse, actually a good fight scene because it was so one sided. A total beatdown of Thor requiring a redemption moment from Loki. Also, when Loki learns of Frigga's death Hiddleston sells it beautifully without any dialogue. I also enjoyed the Star Wars ish palace invasion scene mostly because of the creepy design of the Dark Elves and their ships.

Wondy spreading legs during Doomsday fight.

Batman rescuing Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad.

My inner 13 year old still loves this scene, even though Sydney Bristow had no business being Elektra Natchios.

Don't look at me. I didn't film it.

But you are saying 'upskirting' warrants a good scene. I absolutely appreciate you didn't shoot the scene or devise it, but you are saying 'heh, you know that bit that where we see right up WW's skirt, and virtually capture what she had for tea that last evening, I'll nominate that for a great scene because you know we see her bits and bobs on show'.

Pretty good thread idea.

The warehouse scene in BvS is going to come up quite a bit.

Some of the action in ASM 2 was pretty excellent.

Man of Steel's first flight is an obvious choice.

I also still think the Silver Surfer was pretty awesome in FF2. The chase sequence with him and the Torch was cool but I haven't seen it in years so I'm not sure if it holds up.

I didn't expect you would take it SO damn seriously. But out of context I like some tease. Even if that scene is something that exposes bad taste of the filmmakers.

And as horrible as the movie was, I quite enjoyed the closing monologue from Patience Phillips in the Catwoman movie.

Funtastic!
