The Greatest Criminal Mind of Our Time: Nicholas Hoult IS Lex Luthor

On the older side but maybe Josh Hartnett:

Or Tom Pelphrey:

Maybe even Boyd Holbrook:

Speak of the devil.

So it was created just for that movie? Goddammit.

Also, Ratner is scum, but I'm glad he just inadvertently debunked the myth perpetuated by The Cult that Cavill was the top pick for Flyby Superman. Didn't know the offer went to Hartnett first, but I was not here for that Matt Bomer erasure lol.

Oh man I love seeing costume pics! I can't believe we finally get to see Hartnett in the suit.

If anything this tells me I certainly don't want the black and need the yellow, it's too grim looking for me.

I think Bill Skarsgard may be out of the running for this.

The "Welcome to Derry" show is set to resume filming in January 22 and end on June 28, which obviously will overlap with Superman: Legacy filming. And I know that Bill said he's not on that show, but it later came out that he was BSing which sounds about right since if they had cast a new Pennywise that news would've come out already, and it'd be weird for him not to be involved since Muschietti is.

I was around during that time period and I never heard of Henry Cavill or remember his name being branded about by anyone (but I do remember Boomer being named as like the unknown that either McG or Ratner wanted vs. the big name like Hartnett that the studio wanted).

Same, which is why it’s been annoying to me seeing a certain fandom rewrite history like that. I get that he was in the mix, along with every other young actor at the time, but he was never chosen for the role by anybody involved.

I’d love Alexander Skarsgard or Hoult.

Or for an out-there choice, I would suggest my personal choice for the next James Bond: Tom Hughes.

Glenn Howerton
Will Poulter

Those are my guys.

Cavill was McG's choice. He confirmed it in an interview. This all happened after Ratner left, who wanted Bomer.

I was here. It was insane. We heard names from Law to Cavill. You didn't know what to, or what not to, believe.

Of those, I like Poulter for Lex the best.
