In all frankness, though, if Oprah Winfrey had endorsed the film, we'd probably get a lot more folks going to see the picture than we are now.

I'll never understand what anyone has against the 'nice coat' line. It worked, IMO. It was done in deadpan humor, it's not as if Batman suddenly started immitating Sacha Baron Cohen's Bruno or RuPaul as some sort of fashion critic.

That means very, very little compared to the scathing reviews, the poor box office result, even in this board´s poll the movie´s rating is very weak compared to other superhero movies. "It wasn´t as bad as critics are saying" barely qualifies as a defense, much less praise.
