Its the flash. Barry allen. Hes mostly associated with Hal Jordan and are always best friends and partner. Isnt he going to make an appearance like barry did in arrow?

I thought hal is more assosciated with barry than ollie

Nope.

Hal is more associated with Green Arrow:

I would like to see this at some point, of course (but I'd like someone other than the Arrow and Flash costume designer to design his suit ;) ). Hal is Barry's best friend. He and Barry got along better than Ollie and Hal initially. I'd say they're both at least equally associated.

Hal should be the bridge between shows to remind people that they exist in the same universe. Sure this could be accomplished without him, but it would be awesome fanservice if they did.

Even if he isn't a Lantern, just having Hal Jordan pop up in Starling and Central would be fantastic!

Honestly, I think it'd be for the best to not even touch Green Lantern. I simply cannot see a GL being done on a TV budget, at least not in a manner that wouldn't inspire laughter. At least with Flash, blurs are cheap.

Honestly I think he could be made very well on TV but not without some major changes that would freak out purists...
My thoughts? Well:
-if he's in Costume the costume needs to be more uniform-like...a mix of some kind of cop-uniform and something superhero/space-like (more like Guy Gardner)
-...but ho estly for TV and the character's sake just keep him out of costume on earth...explain who he is and what corp he belongs to, shocking everyone in the Arrowverse, but in the show-related appearances he's just in some stylish Pilot Jacket and uses the ring...maybe he just covers his name on the Jacket and creates a mask with the ring. (did you see that atomic-gl action figure for that new silly crisis game? something like that)
-for the action: don't do silly looking green items!! it will look bad on TV with a moderate budget...just let him use things like the "big-ring-punches" but make them invisible exept for a little green aura that appears when the "object"/beam hits/touches something...if you really need to explain this lack of fancyness just say that he is capable of creating anything with his willpower but that it requires lots of effort and concentration and to hit some thugs in the arrowverse he just doesn't require so much willpower
-give him some limits!!! make him less powerful than in the source! be it because of moral/psycological issues (like in HardTravellingHeroes) or because he just isn't that powerful in this universe (maybe with some weaknesses (just not the colour yellow please!)), or be it because the guardians don't want him to show off on earth

I don't know, I would rather see the show develop the Flash and his supporting characters before delving into other superheroes. But sure I'd like to see Barry interacting with other heroes at some point.

Flash and his supporting cast are getting plenty of development. An hour long episode every week is going to be a lot of development, they can afford to bring in guest characters in season 1 and it won't hurt the development of any characters.

I know that, I just don't want to see the arrival of another superhero in their first season.

I wouldn't mind seeing Hal on the series, but I'd like if they held off for a bit. Maybe until season two, like Arrow did with Barry. Let the first season deal with the hero at hand, and then you can bring in other heroes down the line.

I suggest Matt Lauria.

If Hal Jordan is going to show up I suggest Matt Lanter he was on a cw show before but I know him as the voice of Anakin Skywalker on the Clone Wars

How cool would it be if this actually happened?

I'd be okay with John being the Green Lantern of the movie universe as long as the Arrow universe does their own take on Hal Jordan.

Considering his relationships with both Ollie and Barry in the comics, passing up on using Hal would be a big mistake.

Stephen amell just posted a photo of ferris airlines on his fb page

Hal is more associated with Green Arrow:

The Hal - Barry partnership and friendship came first...

They were played somewhat as the two buddy cops dynamic.
Barry being a - by the book, square, a bit o.c.d. formal cop in his real life, and expressing a freedom in his superhero life.

While Hal was the opposite, a free somewhat reckless maverick in his real life, and a cop who had to follow (although he rarely did) rules in his Superhero life.

They each envied the other.

The Hal - Ollie partnership began in the Bronze age. For the sole reason of them each having green in their name, so they put them in a book together.
Although they had little in common, and even their powers and abilities were at drastically different levels.
So that is what they played up. They turned Ollie into a liberal espousing robinhoood, and to contrast turned Hal into a conservative tool of the Guardians, who now felt guilty for supposedly not using his time fighting for tenants rights, the homeless and the baby seal unions, even though he'd spent it saving them and everyone on earth from much bigger threats a million timers over.:whatever::funny:

Not sure how they are playing it now?

Was this part of a story I missed?

Too old, IMO. If Hal was going to mostly interact with Barry (and he should), I'd rather his age fell somewhere between Amell's and Gustin's (Amell born 1981, Gustin born 1990). Ackles was born in 1978.

The Green Lantern/The Flash teamup makes so much more sense given their comparable power levels
Agree, their power sets are a much better match, seem more compatible.

Always thought if Allen ever needed a cosmic treadmill, Jordan could actually generate the perfect one, by both protecting them in a bubble/"ship" and willing it into an infinite loop, like a Möbius strip Flash could run on endlessly and never burn out so long as Jordan's will holds.
Together they could generate this kind of cosmic time/dimension hopping light-speed dynamo.
