The Flash and Arrow most likely won't be connected to the movies.

I disagree that its best not to have Hal in this universe, he would be a huge asset, and he is the most logical character to introduce at this point.

Right now, the two biggest characters in this universe are going to be Arrow and The Flash. The link between those two is Hal, and they keep dropping hints towards him. I think he'll definitely be introduced eventually. And I can't wait for that. Behind Batman, Robin and Superman, Hal is my favorite superhero.

Just to clarify though I'm not saying that Hal Jordan shouldn't appear at all, I'm saying that it would be difficult to either get an actor cw can afford and someone to headline the justice league so I would rather they just get a major actor for the justice league and not have him appear in flash (or just get referenced in flash)

I do share the same concern regarding Wildcat's age and my traditional picks are definitely older than Jared. But we could easily spin it as a fighting prodigy whose career got shortened due to a life threatening incident and now, in his late 30s (Jared can pass for that) runs a dojo where Laurel joins. Just one of the ideas how we can do it.
And Ackles as Hal, especially for TV, is a Godsent. And if they can't do Hal for film embargoes and what have you, he could be Guy Gardner which is alright.

Hal has to show up. It would be cool if it was Ackles, but I wouldn't count on it.

I quite like the idea of McQueen being Nightwing so I didn't want Jared in the role. And he looks older than what I imagine Nightwing to be. Thus, Wildcat. C'Mon, why can't we have a Wild Cat in his late 30s to early 40s?

Good point, that would be cool... But not as cool as Hal Jordan teaching him to fly. But you are probably right.

Mcqueen definitely has the looks. I've never seen him in anything though. I remember him training in the gym wearing a Nightwing shirt. Haven't heard anything about it since.

Honestly didn't realize how old Jensen and Padaledki had gotten... Not that I would really have a problem with an older Hal Jordan... I guess an older Nightwing might be a little odd.

Hopefully they do have a sem-big announcement at one of the Cons this year... Like Nightwing/Hal being on the show. That'd be cool beans...

He's also 12 years older than Grant Gustin. I don't really care for that. I would want Hal and Barry to feel like pals, not mentor/student. Ideally, the age of the actor playing Hal would fall in between Amell (born 1981) and Gustin (1990).

They could introduce Hal Jordan in Arrow and move him to Flash as Green Lantern in the latter's later seasons.

My idea is an ultimate CW crossover where Steven, Ramsey and Rickards are Angels/ Demons/ Hunters on Supernatural and the Winchesters star as Hal (Ackles), Wildcat (Jared) and Vic Sage- Question (Mischa).

Hmmm, Jordan in the comics really is the character that bridges the two franchises together.
Although spinning it out of the more sci-fi / super powers themed Flash seems more appropriate.

I wonder if they ever really wanted to pursue a backdoor pilot for Jordan they could have a team-up x/over with Arrow and Flash appearing in each others shows again, for a dual season finally. And Jordan being the mysterious new character who appears in both, forcing them to come together again.

Maybe STAR Labs finding a certain crashed alien vessel could be the trigger.

Not that it should make much difference as far as age, but you actually have it backwards, Hal & Barry's friendship came first.

What would be hysterical if they could pull it off, is if on the less super powers oriented show Arrow became friends with and teamed up with Hal Jordan the civilian pilot.
And in a parallel story going on at the same time on the more sci-fi super powers oriented show Flash became friends with The Green Lantern.

Each at first not knowing they are friends/ teaming-up with the same person.
