Wow. I was impressed by those samples but really can't wait to hear this score now.

I hope I'm not over-hyping this and lead to you being disappointed! lol

But for real, my personal opinion truly is that this is freakin incredible. Hope you love it as much as I do! :woot:

So do the individual character themes work from what you guys can tell? I remember them talking about writing songs that fit the character's perspective.

listen to "You´re that Spider-guy" if you don´t like the new theme

Listening to some on youtube, can't wait for it to come out as I will buy it straight away.

Goosebumps I tell you, I'm trying to pick the song tied to [BLACKOUT]Gwen's Death[/BLACKOUT]

I'm still waiting for him to upload more, but right now I'm liking what I'm hearing.

This track seems to be one of the highlights.

How much of the theme is integrated into the score?

Hey guys, sorry for making you wait for the PM. I just kind of didn't check back at this thread for a little bit because I was getting other PM's

Is it better than the first movie? I didn't like the first movies soundtrack that much except for the track when Captain Stacy dies.

Also, "We're Best Friends" sounds like something from the climax/crescendo of a beautiful and dramatic broadway play or something. Just crazy powerful and emotional

Also, sounds like what could actually be used for
Gwen's death
or sometime around it.

Obviously maybe not, but I could see it for sure

Surprisingly TASM has one of my all-time favorite movie scores actually. It was my favorite part of the movie... and while I still love it beyond words, this new OST has literally made me completely forget about it.

I don't mean that as a slight or detraction from Horner's work, just only that Hans Zimmer has miraculously made me ok with them moving away from the original

Oddly enough, I think the score for TASM1 and now TASM2 are both some of the most unique film scores I've ever heard, both in their own personal ways
