The person uploading on youtube has stopped!! gAAAAAH I need moooooooooore! I really want to hear "goblin"

He hasn't really stopped he's just waiting for it to upload.

I really wanna hear at least some of Zimmer's score play during the credits. It's too beautiful not to be accompanying that classic black credits screen at the end of the film (where you just sit back, listening to the music, letting what you just saw sink in -- my favorite part of seeing a movie in theaters :woot:)

You're lucky. All my friends just wanna leave straight away but I'm just stuck in my seat like, okay, I gotta think.

But it doesn't have the same melody that Horner's did - I'm talking about the theme that shows up in the last part of "Saving New York" and during the final swing in "Promises - End Titles."

I do like Zimmer's new theme a lot though. It has an energetic feeling to it.

"I Can't See You Anymore" and "Promises - End Titles" are 2 of my all-time favorite pieces of music

But like I've said, this new score has blown me way. It's not necessarily better, but at least equally as good/satisfying in a completely different way that Horner's was good/satisfying, if that makes sense?

The desperation in "I'm goblin" is awesome. Definitely gives the feel of the hero trying to save the girl as well as himself.

Just got the CRAZIEST vibe from Let Her Go... Oh man, I hope that's the song...

Ok I downloaded the OST, but it saved as one giant, 2 hour file lol. Now I need to find the track listings and divide it up

The soundtrack needed a really sad, powerful song for [BLACKOUT]Gwen's Death[/BLACKOUT], not seeing it

Yeah some of mine are like that too, it bugs me ha. My family sees movies together a lot though, and we're all lingerers lol, so that's where I get my fill.

But anytime I see a really good movie, even if it's the kind of movie that definitely has no post-credits scene, just credits, I'll still stay in my seat til the theater lights come on

I'm moving to England is absolute perfection.

Honestly, I feel like there's multiple pieces that would actually be worthy of that moment

That's the one thing that has me so perplexed... that's there's so many really emotional beats throughout the score, whether on their own or contained within other tracks, that I'm worried I'm just gonna be crying throughout the whole movie and not just the end :ninja:

edit: Like I mentioned earlier, I think "We're Best Friends" starting at about the 40sec mark would definitely fit that bill. And if you think about "We're Best Friends" in regard to Peter and Gwen, and not Peter and Harry like it might seem at first, it makes it about a billion times more sad

Imagine
Peter holding Gwen's dead body, crying and saying to her "You were my best friend/something along those lines
..that would be super powerful imo

I actually think the scores from both the movies complement each other really well! I'm moving to england seems to go well with the balcony scene from the first movie.

Thanks LGND, that makes lots of sense. [BLACKOUT]Do you think the part where she actually dies will have NO music at all, then he screams, then music? It doesn't seem "hard hitting" enough for the scream[/BLACKOUT]

I'M GOBLIN..

HOLY **** I NEED TO CATCH MY BREATH.. That's the most terrifyingly epic piece of music I've heard ever..,

I hope we will all be purchasing this when it hits itunes/music stores

EDIT: THAT ENDING. :wow:

The ending of "I'm Goblin" is the death scene for me, followed by the next two tracks. Have goosebumps just thinking about it

I'm Goblin is creepy as I don't know what but you can feel it building up and then 0o0

I wonder why the score has not been mentioned much in reviews? :O
