The gathered guests rose as the processional music began. Out first was Valeria, stumbling along on her tiny little legs as she scattered rose petals along the aisle. Franklin was out next, hamming it up for the cameras as he carried the small pillow with the rings attached. The bridesmaids were out next, escorted by the groomsmen. Wade walked as though the fear of God had been put into him, and Clint couldn't help but notice the smile on Jen's face.
There was a brief pause as the others took their positions, and then the bridal march began.
Clint felt his breath catch as Wanda made her way down the aisle. From that first day in the mansion, moments before they were presented to the world as the new line up of Avengers, he was smitten with her. He'd tried for years to make something happen, but at the time it wasn't meant to be. She had The Vision, and he had fallen for Barbara. His Bobbi. He wondered if she was watching right now.
Wanda took her place beside him on the altar, and their eyes met instantly. Hawkeye felt his heart skip a beat, and his whole body trembled.
"Dearly beloved, ve are gathered here today to join these two in holy matrimony. But before ve begin, let us take a moment to remember those friends and loved ones who have gone to the Father before us, and could not be here today."
As much as that day was about celebration, it was also about rememberance. For the teammates who had just fallen, for family who had gone one before, for friends who had gone to live in eternal paradise, one way or the other.
"Danke. Now, Clint, Wanda, you are here today to join in an endless journay together as husband and wife. Do ve have the rings?"
Franklin brought the pillow forward so the rings could be taken off.
"Clint, do you take Wanda to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do."
"Then place the ring on Wanda's left hand with the words 'With this ring, I thee wed.'"
Clint hand trembled as he slipped the ring on.
"With this ring, I thee wed."

"With this ring, I thee wed."
"If anybody here has any reason why these two should not be wed, let them speak now or forever hold their peace."
Silence.
"Then, by the power vested in me by God and the holy catholic church, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Clint lifted the veil and took Wanda in his arms as the two kissed to the applause, and cheers, and cat call or two, or the gathered heroes.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Barton."
Clint Barton and Wanda Maximoff.
Hawkeye and the Scarlet Witch.
Friends. Teammates. Lovers.
Husband and Wife.
