This is confusing.I guess we'll just have to wait and see.As much as I'm not a fan I hope he's okay.

Also what do you guys think of the new ti track with 3 stacks, of course I am still awaiting another Andre 3000 solo album.

Another? He hasn't technically ever released one...

I made a thread in the celebrities section about Lil Wayne's before I even thought of checking here, mods can merge as they see fit.

I keep reading some very, VERY conflicting reports about this...
I think I'll keep the thread you made in the celebrities section seeing as Lil Wayne may in fact be meeting his maker soon. If that's the case then a thread dedicated to him would be best as to not merely put all the focus on his death (hopefully not) into this rap/hip hop thread.

I know it might sound cruel, but I don't feel sorry for Wayne. That's what codeine does to you. And I'm sure doctors have told him to stop using it. His fault.

The Love Below was a solo project, Big Boi was featured on like 5 tracks and he pretty produced the whole album except for "Roses"

if they wanted to make one as a group, they would have. I don't consider The Love Below/Speakerboxxx an Outkast album at all.

^^^ Agreed there.

Has anybody around here heard Sadistik's new album Flowers For My Father? Talk about powerful. Almost every track is like a punch in the soul. Amazing album

I don't know if it's been brought up here because it been a long time since I visited this thread but I recommend everyone to check out Astro's Mixtape Deadbeats and Lazy Lyrics
I downloaded the week it was released and I've been listening to it a lot its gotta be one the best Mixtape I've listen to in years real true hip hop
The Kid has true talent

I just stumbled across this song about the KingPin called "I'm the King Pin!" by MCBEE-X. It's hip-hop/rap. It's pretty sick and I thought you guys should definitely check it out.

youtube promo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceT56GWa6yo

itunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/im-the-king-pin!-ep/id611673322

it's pretty interesting because when artists write songs about superheroes they usually take on the good guy role like superman. This guy is brave enough to portray himself as the villan in this song. Tell me what you guys think!

Yeah, got it a couple weeks ago. Amazing album.

Anybody actually believe this Illumanti? I always say no but either this is one hell of a marketing scheme that will be milked for every last dollar which I believe or maybe heaven and hell does exist.

Like I said, technically he hasn't released one. It was billed as an Outkast album. Also, I haven't listened to it in years, but I think Big Boi was only on 1 track: Roses.

As for "they" would make an album if "they" wanted to: Dre doesn't want to. If it was up to Big Boi they'd probably have had 4 or 5 more albums by now.

I like that Hudson Mohawk beat on Kanye West's new track New Slaves

Former Cool Kids Chuck Inglish track Tangerine and the reformed Goodie Mobs Special Education are both bangers.

If you wanna hear a really good track check out Killer Mike and El-P aka Run the Jewels and their new track with Big Boi called "Banana Clipper". Killer's MIke's first verse is crazy

I recommend picking this up if you're a fan of underground hip hop or hip hop in general:

R.A. is top ten all time imo

The new Major Lazer - Bubble Butt featuring Bruno Mars, Tyga, Mystic & 2 Chainz is the weirdest music video of the year!

^^^lol ya I saw it. I actually like a song for a dance track though

Major Lazer have some pretty crazy music videos. The recent trend of Comedians directing dance videos has been cool.

can't wait for Born Sinner.

no other rap features, but has TLC and Lauryn Hill..

Anybody else listening to Yeezus?"Blood on the Leaves" is my favorite song so far.
