The pictures are further proving that Olyphant was and is wrong for the role of Agent 47. People can defend it all they want, but the film itself is shaping up to be a complete and utter disaster.

Oh well, I'll definitely be avoiding it when it's released.

I'll judge it when it actually comes out.

I'm not really impressed with the trailers other than that they seem to be trying to mimic John Woo.

Olyphant looks totally wrong for this role. He just looks goofy. And he doesn't do bald very well. He doesn't look like a convincing baldy.

Only difference is Martin isn't a clone and he's attracted to women.

Judging from the trailer it looks like Agent 47 is going to make it with Hot Russian Chick, and according to Louis Leterrier, the director of the Transporter movies, Frank Martin is actually gay.

I just can't picture Olyphant as Agent 47 either. Although that may be attributed to just recently watching seasons 2 and 3 of Deadwood back to back. So I pretty much see Seth Bullock when I look at Olyphant. Seeing him without a mustache and goatee just looks weird for me.

I didn't buy Matt Damon when I first heard about BI way back when but he impressed the socks off of me. I'll judge upon viewing.

I wouldn't be surprised considering it's a Fox film.
Well AVP-R managed to get the R, (thank God), but the directors really wanted it. For Hitman, I don't think they're fighting hard to secure an R rating.

that tattoo is IMO photoshop

Everything about the image looks photoshopped. The mirror and the reflected image especially.

I'm still hopelessly optimistic for this movie.

I adore the games. I really want Eidos to do a Hitman game strictly for the next gen consoles and not just a port like Blood Money was on the 360.

The director said in an Interview that he told the studio he wanted an R rating. He wasn't going to be shy about the kills. So, the studio knows that the director wants it to be R, whether they are cool with that is still to be determined.

I'm sorry but the guy just does not impress me,

Damon for me was gonna be good from the start.. the trailer hinted at that..

the trailers for this has not.

First of all, Leterrier only directed Transporter 2. Second, Frank Martin is NOT GAY! C'mon, man! He stuck it to that Chinese chick in the first movie!!

And he obviously dug that chick in transporter 2. what is leterrier talking about?

oh and Leterrier was "artistic director" on The Transporter, which I guess means none action scenes.

Not to knock Leterrier, of course, 'cause he did direct Unleashed, and I'm looking forward to what he does on Incredible Hulk. The way I see it, Li's character in Unleashed is a good foundation for creating the Hulk on film.

It's a videogame movie, it's bound to be bad or at best mediocre.

Movies can always be great, no matter the source material. How's a game different from a normal script, or even comics? We have great comic book movies like V for Vendetta and Batman Begins. We need a studio that has got some balls and a good director. Hell, with a good director and the money even the Mortal Kombat games could be turned into LOTR Movies featuring martial arts.

I don't count V or Begins as great comicbook movies but okay I get your point. Still haven't seen a great videogame movie yet and this one doesn't look to break that curse.

It's just sad that Studios don't seem to put too much effort into Video Game movies. I wonder how Sony's Metal Gear Project will turn out.
