Glad everyones thinks this is cool. i think he's a very underrated actor so with this and the upcoming next die hard movie more should know who he is.

Yeah but he's done that so many other times in other roles it would have just seemed Meh o cast him then. Atleast Olyphant is unexpected.

Although, my additional $.02 is that I'd have rather seen Statham do this, but I'm intrigued by this news anyway. And I can't wait to hear more on this.

if you really think the movie is going to be anything like the game you are mistaken..i'm willing to bet money he does kung fu type fight and kicks ass with a gun..statham is the man for the job.

But that is kind of the point. Statham has played a similar character many times already. Far too obvious and at the point of cliche.
