BEAUTIFUL!....:wow:

He doesn't look cold, menacing, or calculating. He might be able to pass off as the Hitman in a fanfilm.

Everything else looks good though.

New picture. I like it. Still need to see more though.

USA Today said:
In the video game adaptation, Agent 47 (Olyphant) has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name.

The hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian military chase the Hitman across Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who set him up and why they're trying to take him out of the game. But the greatest threat to 47's survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl...

USA Today talked with Timothy Olyphant about his upcoming videogame-to-film adaptation of Hitman along with providing a brand new (and fairly kickass) photo:

"Some video games have a real back story; some are more about the look," says Olyphant, who played the villain in this summer's Live Free or Die Hard.

Olyphant considers the Hitman game a rare combination of both and says he underestimated the fan base for video games. He was at a premiere recently with his friend Aaron Eckhart, who plays the villain Two-Face in next year's Batman installment The Dark Knight.

"A kid came up to him and asked if he was really going to play Two-Face," Olyphant says. "Then he turns to me and asks if I'm really going to play the Hitman. It shocked me. I realized that video games have become like comic-book movies."

Olyphant knows that the movie may rankle some die-hard gamers with Hollywood twists. Like, say, having a female in it (played by Olga Kurylenko). In the movie, Agent 47 thinks he has completed a routine assassination, only to become the hunted.

"I know people want you to be true to the game, but no one really wants to go pay for a movie to watch a video game," he says. "And, look, it's a movie. You've got to have the girl in it. I just hope the fans feel I'm the character they're used to."

these manips look awesome.....

i hope they pull it off as well on film

I've never played the games, so I can't comment on them, but I saw the preview before the new Bourne movie and all I could say was "What the f**?"

They made it look as if he's some sort of chosen warrior destined to fight evil... Neo as a contract killer, or something. Is this really how he's portrayed in the games? Or were they just misleading the audience in the trailer so that they don't write if off as just another movie about a professional killer?

I haven't played all of the games. The only one I really completed was Blood Money, but he was nothing like a chosen warrior or anything of the sort. He took assignments and got rid of people that were either a nuisance or simply disliked.

Heck, the first person he had to kill in Blood Money was the owner of a amusement park because the son of someone died through a Ferris wheel accident.

Yeah, from what I understood of the games, that was pretty much it... hunt contracts down and kill them. I was puzzled by all the chosen one stuff.

I just hope they don't make him some sort of good Samaritan. Sure, a lot of his assigments require him to kill a lot of bad guys, but if he gets the assigment to kill a snitch and he has got to kill a few FBI agents because they get in his way, hell he'll do it.

This movie is gonna bomb hard. It's not a big enough game series to have a movie, plus everytime I've seen the trailer in theaters, there's nothing said about it after words...

Uh, yeah, that's happened to mostly any other trailer i've seen in the theater and yet the movies have done well.

Yeah, why the hell do people think that a trailer has to have conversation following it in order for the audience to have liked it? No one ever talks between trailers, frankly I hate people who do, cause then I miss the beggining of the next trailer.

Exactly what I mean. Though, I don't mind when they talk between them.

Don't take this the wrong way because we're friends and all, but that is an ignorant point of view. You're saying because people in YOUR theater didn't talk and 'ohhhh/aaaahhh' afterwards, that the movie is going to bomb hard??

:oldrazz:

Come on JustAPenis. If anything it'll bomb because it strayed too far away from the awesomeness of the source material. Just saying. Oh and love the bigger pic.

Either way...I just don't see this doing too well. :o
