i would understand if foxfrom the start wanted a pg-13 version. but why let the director film a R movie and then change it to pg-13? why do this?

As for this news, well the DVD could still be good but i loved DH4 so maybe this guy's edit won't be so bad for us non gore hounds.

DH4 and Hitman are two different mediums. While Die Hard is a violent film, Hitman is more violent and needs to remain faithful to the overall murders he does.

While DH4 was a good action film, you can tell they cut out some stuff and watered down the violence. Hitman is one thing that didn't and doesn't need to be watered down in my opinion. Like I said, I'm glad I don't have high expectations for this film and wasn't sitting around praising it like some people were and are.

All it really proves is Fox doesn't care about quality pictures nor do they care about the source material.

Um, Fox is known to do this. Remember X-Men 3? Remember Daredevil? Remember Fantastic Four? Fox will not confirm it until the film is actually released and they make their money.

Yeah, Fox is one ****ty studio. They're notorious for mucking stuff up so I wouldn't be surprised if this news was true.

I hate to be one of those people that says that this movie will suck even though I haven't seen it yet, but just from the fact that they're going to water it down already gives us a hint with what they're going for.

Je confirme l'article de Twitch. C'est vraiment dommage. Jesper et moi avons du céder notre place pour la sortie salle afin qu'elle soit plus acessible. Mais je ne lache pas l'affaire pour l'instant.
J'ai bien l'intention de vous montrer un jour mon "Hitman".
Meme en plus soft ça restera mon film .
C'est vrai que quand un film s'ouvre sur un ride en afrique au milieu d'un bidon ville à la Madmax, un bras coupé à la machette, un grand brulé et une tête qui explose au milieu d'un meeting politique ça fait tache.
Je pense qu'une director's cut verra le jour mais en attendant vous aurez la version "Normal". Enfin rien n'est joué la post prod n'est pas fini et je ne lacherai rien.
