They probably picked the worst editor for the job too.

Did anyone else notice the HORRENDOUS editing in Die Hard 4?

Sometimes their mouths weren't even moving to the words.
 
That dumb idiot Rothman needs to get the ax ASAP. I mean seriously. No wonder the Halo movie isn't getting made right now, because Rothman would probably insist on making it PG-13 at the last minute the month before it releases. That ****** is running a once great movie studio and their properties completely into the dirt.

Especially in the scene right before the power plant was about to blow up. I could bet my life that Justin Long dropped the f-bomb during that scene before editing it.
 
Why is Fox so afraid of releasing R rated movies?

They just NOW found out that Hitman was gonna be violent? The title didn't give it away? :whatever:

You'd think these studios would be worried that eventually people would smarten up and just not see the movie at the show since everything has an 'UNCUT!' version floating around now.
 
Apparently the film is still rated R, and that guy was brought in to edit, but Xavier is still overseeing the project.

Yes!!!

I was sitting there slapping my hand on my head at how poorly edited that scene was and everyone else was just sitting there laughing at what Justin Long was saying.

I thought I was the only one.
 
i already saw a tvspot with it rated R... so i think thats solid
 
the scene where he's holding his sniper and his red tie blowing in the wind is just breathtraking

They're showing all the great shots that are homages to the game while the rest of the movie is garbage.

I just hope they don't do a video game based off the movie.

isnt it better to hate a fox movie NOW and if it is really good he wil enjoy it?

i rather hate it now and like it then then the other way around. and i agree they are showing the game homages in the promotion.
 
Fox needs to rerelease it with the guns edited out and replaced with walkie talkies dammit.
