Still, I find it odd that they decided to keep the R rating for this, and not for Live Free or Die Hard...

They don't have a problem making video game movies rated R nowadays for some reason.

dude the title explains why it should be rated R, HITMAN
 
It's not like an R-rating means this movie will be an awesome movie and make it a faithful and well executed movie based on the games.

Some of it sounds like it could be damage control.

Remember all the "Fox sources" for the SHH that said X-men 3 was over 2 hours and many of you people here believed it? And some of you were naive enough to believe that people were simply seeing a SHORTER cut of movie at the advanced screenings. Uh . . . yeah.

but when the story is about an assasin, you need blood in the movie
 
Give fanboys nudity and gore, and they'll eat it up. :o

Hello

i confirm twich article . It is a pity really. Jesper and me let us have to yield our place so that that the movie is more acessible. But i will not give up for the moment.

I have every intent to show you one day my "Hitman"
even softer it will remain my movie.

It's true that the movie open on a winkle in Africa in the medium of a shantytown, mad max style an arm cut with a machete ,, a guy severly burned and a head which explode in midle of a political meeting it can surprise

i think that one day a director's cut will see the light of the day , but in the meantime you'll have the normal version..

that said , game is not over , post production is not over and i will not
give up..

to each movie its combat

Thanks for the update Maze, not sure the other two bits are needed but the head shot is classic Hitman.
