He looks nowhere near as detached, cold, and ruthless as Agent 47 really is.
From my perspective all this film seems to be is nice homage shots to the games with no real intelligent story. Just seems these shots are a cover up for a mindless action film to me.
I recommend reading the novel Hitman: The Enemy Within. It's a new Hitman novel that paints a gritty, unique, and dark picture of 47's origins as the book so far has him remembering his times as a child and goes back to the present as he's hunted by a rival agency.
If anything when I think of Hitman I think of a film similar to Bourne Ultimatium/Casino Royale. So far this has done nothing but disappoint me as I am a huge fan of the games and have always been against the casting of Olyphant, against the fact that Fox is distributing this, and how every trailer seems to paint this film has a mindless action one that has no story, no character development, and etc.
