Yea im with Fist on this one. From those pics tho, im feelin alot better than what i was a month ago, his expressions look pretty good, at least in the photos.

As for the poster, yea im not really feeling it. Take out the girl(even tho shes a big part of the movie, like it or not), replace the silverballer with him holding fiber wire(ala Bloodmoney) and youve got urself a poster.

Im stoked as **** to see the film being that im a fan of the game.

I'm still on the fence with this film. Being a huge fan of the games, I'm excited for the fact that it is a Hitman film, yet some things look way way off.

My biggest gripe isn't with Olyphant but the 'hot chick'. Completely unnecessary for this film. It worries me.

LastSunrise1981 has a point. It looks like they're putting together some generic action story with cool shots from the game added to the mix. Gsh

At least with Kane & Lynch coming out soon, maybe now Eidos can do a next gen Hitman game. Please.

Just a little nick pick but why is this thread called "The Hitman" when the film is called "Hitman" never once has it been called "The Hitman" by anybody releated to the film or on any film poster, website, etc

If it sucks, it wont be on Olyphants casting. It doesnt take much to play an emotionless killer. Olyphant can EASILY nail the character of 47. Its the overall plot(the addition of the "woman sidekick") that could destroy the movie.

That doesn't really matter. Willem Dafoe looked little like Norman Osborn, but he captured the character PERFECTLY(imo). Im with you, i dont think Olyphant really looks like 47, but from Olyphants previous work, i know he can capture the character. Im not at all worried about Olyphant, its the first time director and the plot im concerned with.

Im pretty much in the same boat dude. So far, from what iv seen, it doesnt look all that bad, i mean i have some doubts, but im still stoked for the film.

Yea he was pretty bad ass in Casino Royale, but i think Olyphant will do fine. On a side note tho, its cast not casted.

He was great in CR, but I think he's an even worst choice than Olyphant.
