Are any of the Hellraiser or Candyman sequels worth a viewing?

I've started my 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' marathon and it was good to revisit the original, I think it's a classic but holy hell TCM 2 is utter garbage!
Aside from Hopper's character's story, there is no point in half of this movie whatsoever! We get that the family is severely ****** up but there is no need for them to be so damn annoying and shout out every line. I mean, even the normal characters are a bit too eccentric, like the spitting radio guy and Hopper with his umpteen chainsaws. Good Lord.
Watching the Candyman sequel right now. About 40 minutes into it and so far it's been so-so. The story moves to New Orleans from Chicago. I'm not entirely sure why however.
I saw TCM2 at a midnight show having no idea what to expect. That movie is bizarre and in the context that I saw it in great fun. The movie is quite off kilter and bizarre. The scene where Leatherface has Stretch cornered in the back of the radio studio is hilarious, making the chainsaw as a phallic symbol completely literal. But then theres the goofy bit where it seems like he's going to cut into her but instead she is sprayed with not blood, but Big Red soda as he chainsaws through a cooler of soda. Hopper is the weak point of the film for me though. Stretch's little chainsaw at the dance is also quite goofy but overall I really like that movie. There are just so many moments that are gruesomely funny.
The Conjuring was so damn good. 9.0/10
Tobe Hooper said they went for a parody of horror sequels with TCM2, not really trying for a serious sequel. Essentially, it is Gremlins 2 to Gremlins, but not as entertaining.I have no problem with other people liking it but it just wasn't for me.
The amount of screaming and shouting becomes unbearable and the ending, if you can call it that, is just terrible.
I'm all for trying a new direction in horror sequels, but after the tone and atmosphere of the first one, TCM 2 is just utter nonsense.
I was pleasantly surprised by The Conjuring.

Watching the last Candyman now and it's about his other descendent?![]()
I guess this would be Annie's (protagonist from the second) cousin played by Donna D'Errico who is named Caroline too, and this time it's in Los Angeles.
Its a cult classic dark comedy horror movie. Could you go through what Stretch had went through & not scream? The actress who plays Stretch had a terrible scream but it plays into the comedy aspect better.
No it's not actually. That would mean this takes place roughly now and clearly it's set in late 90's Los Angeles which was set in mid 90's New Orleans. Last name is also different, McKeever from the ancestry. (or not, see below)It's supposed to be Annie's daughter from the second movie all grown up.![]()

Okay... wow I was wrong and they just said "screw continuity" and aged the daughter like 20 years for a movie that's set maybe 3-4 years later. No it's not actually. It has been a long time since I saw it but I remember liking it well enough. What are your guys thoughts on Night of the Living Dead, the 90's remake with Tony Todd?
