There's one point where it breaks pov without explanation. I think when he kills a girl in a parking lot. The rest I didn't mind so much.

I heard that the idea of that is that he feels "free" when killing or something...but yeah...I would have been happier had it never broke the pov. Still, one of the better Horror movies of the year...in my top 10.

Watching Child's Play 3 for the first time. I'm only 15 minutes in, but so far it doesn't seem awful. Gotta say though, the kid they got for the 16 year old Andy actually looks pretty close to Alex Vincent. Moreso than trying to sell me Nick Stahl and Christian Bale as the same person.

I can deal with some small quibs in the movie. Every movie has them and horror has been on a downward slide so to me this movie was one of the best of the past 10 years. To be honest it was the best horror movie that I've seen in the theaters since 28 Days Later.

I watched Friday the 13th Part 7 last night for the first time in 15+ years. I forgot Terry Kiser (Weekend at Bernie's) was in it, and also forgot how much they show mask-free Jason at the end. I really liked his face. It looked very "Evil Dead" to me.

The sleeping bag is one of my favorite kills of all time as well, 7 is in my top 3 F13 films and yes it features Tina with awesome telekinetic powers.

Yesterday I did Night of the Creeps and Slither, it just felt like a creature feature type of day. I also watched Beware the Moon: Remembering An American Werewolf in London which was an older but fantastic documentary on the film with pretty much all of the cast and crew including John Landis himself discussing the making of the film, I recommend it to any fan of the movie.

Rick Baker talking about how he had joined The Howling to do the werewolf effects then Landis calling him once they had the financing for AAWIL is a great story to hear, I guess Landis never forgave him for even the thought of doing another werewolf movie.

I was kind of watching parts of some of the F13th films these past few days since AMC has been having a marathon. Last night was Jason Goes to Hell.

I actually love when Jason kills the rocker chick with her Flying V on the boat but I'm not a hater of JTM as most fans are, it's a cheesy guilty pleasure.

I think tomorrow night I will watch Candyman or Maniac (remake). I haven't seen Candyman since I was a kid, and I haven't seen Maniac yet, so I'm looking forward to it.

Just goes to show, never challenge a powerful brute zombie to a one on one fight.

I don't hate Jason Takes Manhattan also, like others have said it gets better once he gets to New York (love the scene with the punks), but I hated how they took Jason out this time around mainly because it made no sense.

Watched Bride of Chucky last night, and I have to admit, it isn't terrible like Seed is, (and Jennifer Tilly is really hot in it.) but honestly, with the comedy and horror mixed, it actually ends up being kind of a boring film. I see lots of people praising Bride, but hating CP3, and I honestly liked CP3.

Edit: Watching Seed again now. It isn't as bad as I remember, but not great either. I did laugh quite a bit when they were watching TV and Tiffany was like "they're executing Martha Stewart today." Most random thing ever. I know it was in reference to Tiffany loving her in the last film, but it was just so stupid it was funny.

Watched the new Halloween Blu-Ray last night and now I'm 100% sure Annie and Laurie smoke a joint. Which kinda changes the whole movie for me, haha.

I saw Trick 'r Treat for the first time today. It was a very fun movie, I really liked it. 8.5

I was never sure if it was a cigarette or a funny cigarette. It changes the movie for me because smoking dope and babysitting little kids is something I used to do. It makes me laugh that Annie and Laurie wanted to toke up before watching the brats.

Todays film viewings were The Howling and Dead Alive both two of my faves yet again, tonight I'm finally going to pickup my 35th Anniversary Halloween blu-ray I can't wait to watch the new extras, I will however leave the film itself for Halloween.
