I just watched Backcountry(2015) and it was great! Not a traditional horror movie but it was very suspensful and intense.

Watched Stephen King's Sleepwalkers (1992) for the first time. I've been putting it off for a long time because it has a terrible reputation and has a 5.1 on IMDB, not to mention that it's not based on a Stephen King story (King wrote the original screenplay). But I was shocked to discover that it's actually a cool little gem of a movie, and pretty much checks all the boxes of what I love about the horror genre. I still don't get the hate for Mick Garris as a director. I've never disliked anything he's done. I'd give this a 6.5/10.

I've only seen 2 of Mick Garris' movies. This and Critters 2. I enjoyed both.
