Kevin Bacon really likes this character and has tried to do something with it for a long time. He even shot a pilot for a TV show and wasn't picked up. I think you can still find it somewhere.

Ah yes, there are far better entries than the original. I think the first one might actually be my least favorite. But don't quote me on that because I've seen them only once.
