Sadly I agree. If people go see it because they think it's like Twilight then that will do nothing but help the Box Office performance which will lead to the sequels. I'm just sad that it is a good thing.

We'll see how the film pans out once we've seen it. The thing to remember is this film can be hurt in a few ways :

It changes important parts of the book, that will piss fans off.
It's love theme is ramped up and violence dumbed down; Twilight.
Or all of the above.

So even if the film is nothing like Twilight, it still runs the risk of changing the details of the book that may anger a lot of the fans.

Not really people who want another Twilight will see another Twilight. Show them a LOTR trailer that mentions Aragorn/Arwen/Eowyn and they will say LOTR looks like Twilight. It's all perspective to some it does to others it doesn't.

Josh Hutcherson. I think he's long overdue for a breakthrough. I've always thought he was a good actor and had a genuine passion for acting. I have a feeling he's going to be great in this (he was also great in The Kids Are Alright).

I think all of the main three with e bigger stars. However Jennifer Lawrence will be the bigger of the three since she is the main character and unlike Stewart the main focus of the film.
