Yeah it does suck that 4 or 5 people didn't do a quiz and got booted for it but someone would have been booted that round anyways. Better them than you right? This is one of the ways this game differs from Survivor, you don't have team members to carry you through if you happen to miss a mission/quiz so the dead weight takes care of itself so to speak. I know everyone has personal lives and this game may get in the way but if I tailored missions around everyone, this game would take for-ev-er.
