As the calender year starts to run out of days and the new year approaches, at this time, we would like to step back and reflect on the year we had.

Now comes the time for awards and big egos!! This is pretty simple. Instead of giving awards every so many post. This is the big daddy of the awards.

Here's the list, I'll update it as we go.

This was our toughest award. It was a 5-way tie between Ultimate Batman (MB) Sinestro (Wieg) Ultimate Spider-Woman (EBJ) Aquaman (trusty) and Blue Blur (Byrd) In the end, it was one vote that decided the winner. Without further wait, your hero for 2007 is....

5-way tie? That's epic. I'd like to congratulate trusty on the most unlikely award ever. It takes skill to make Aquaman the BEST.

I'd also like to say, 'Jessica, you worked hard. I'm excited for the stuff I have planned in '08.'

For the record, I voted Blurry. As far as I'm concerned, a well-written original idea made from scratch is just as impressive as writing a famous character well.

In the way that a hero is very diffrent form a villian (Or not so diffrent, if you believe Green Goblin and Dr. Evil) The voting for Best Villian couldn't have been anymore diffrent than Best Hero. The villian for 2007 won in a landslide. C'mon, we all know who it is.

Thank you everyone who participated. This is our own little corner, and as far as activeness goes, there was a good amount of user input in these awards. For its first year? We're doing great. You should find the rest of the awards to be real shockers. Why you may ask? Well, I cannot tell you. You'll see.

Also, I think it would be cool if each winner saves the picture onto their comps. They are purty after all.

Now here's an interesting category. Teams are often rare in our buisness. It's hard getting multipule players to synchronize, and find the right chemistry. But when you find the right players and the right time. Sparks can fly. There were only three nominees in this category, but all three are deserving of their award (espically the T-Bolts )
