Oh jesus no.:down The only thing I liked about the movie was
the appearence by Grandma Boy's Jeff, he's the man, "do you need a friend?" than they start playing lol.

star wars sucks for me 4,5,6, just plain boring and 1,2,3 the guy who played anakin, dude can't act.....

ultraviolet was the most stupidest movie ever. story sucks, too many milla vs. a whole army fight scenes, and i hated the kid who played the "cure"

anything uwe bol directed

I liked kingkong but it's just too long

Spider-Man 2 is just terrible. Never have I hated the main character so much. Okay, so you just became friends with a scientist you respected greatly, then he suffers an accident in which he loses his wife, in which you also got to know, also he has metal tentacles grafted to his spine? And what do you do after this? You STILL whine about how MJ won't go out with you! And when you see your friend robbing a bank? What do you do? You fight him instead of talking to him! No questions about why he's doing it!

spider-man never attacked doc ock he was always trying to defend the public, i.e. the bank and train and lets face it, I would probably whine if I didn't have the balls to tell MJ i loved her

Damn, I wish I had the energy to go on my 6th Sense, Signs and Lady in the Water rants. :(

Done 'em too much in real life recently, and now this thread appears.:down

I suppose it would be an understatement to say Catwoman sucked, but my curiosity led me to actually watch the film... My expectations were extremely low, and I was hoping that the film would be entertainingly bad like B&R was.

I was wrong.

i wish i had the energy to fully rant about how much i hated king kong... i saw it in the theatres and greatly disliked it. i came out physically angry... then earlier today my girlfriend rented it, because she'd nevver seen it, and came over to watch it with me... so, i couldn't say no, and i lost another 3 and a half hours of my life.

how so many people love this movie is beyond me. it has maybe, maybe half an hour overall of nice parts, and the other 3 hours is just boring crap. and what's the point of having such a great cgi kong (and great looking dinosaurs, etc...) if everytime an actual human is onscreen with them, they look so out of place it throws you right out of the illusion?

what an overrated turd of a movie.

Domino. What a ****ing mess of a movie. Why the hell were Monique and the 2 dudes from 90210 in this flick?? It made it all the much worse. 2 hours down the goddamn drain from watching this piece of dog****. Did whoever wrote the script realize that you can't slap scenes together randomly and expect to have a good movie?? :down

**** that ****ing piece of **** called Domino.

Not horrible but definitely overrated on these boards: Batman Begins.

People act like it's God's gift to comic fans. Now people are asking for an Oscar buzz for The Dark Knight? Please. Get out. The performances were good for a Batman movie but Bale will never be nominated for an Oscar for Batman. And it's not because the Academy has a thing against the genre, he just plain doesn't deserve it. Hugh Jackman is the closest thing to an elite leading man the comic book genre has and Spider-Man is the only franchise on a large enough scale to compete with the dramas that do get nominated for Oscars.

batman hater^^^^

and i hated hostel with a passion, that showed just how bad not only cinema, but the horror genre is today

I liked Begins. Easily the best Batman film yet. I'm just saying that doesn't count for much on the wider scale of movies out there.

not that either would ever even be considered for oscar material but batman begins is far more worthy of an oscar than spider-man, although i loved both.

i agree with you about batman begins, but no superhero movie out yet is oscar material... especially not spider-man 2.

Spider-Man

everything about these movies are assed backwards.

Blonde to redhead/Redhead to Blonde
Gwen Stacy to Mj/ Mj to Gwen Stacy
topher is brock and not parker.
webshooters not believalbe but a man made out of 20 foot sand of himself is..

the two leads are horrible.
peter parker is an appealing character becuase hes not depressed and so serious like batman, hes not perfect like superman. Parker is funny and charismatic and tobey maguire is a walking stiff.

comic parker cracks jokes, the movie parker has clutsy things happen to him which makes him out to be a walking dumbass that the audiance laughs at and not with him.

Mary Jane is Kirstin Dunst.

the spider man movies are okay movies, there solid movies based on the superman franchise which is annoying to see when spider mans comics visuals are so abundant and can be used instead of a superman ripping off shirt scene.

no webshooters, crappy costumes watered down plots.

the spider man movies by sam rami, tobey maguire and dunst is not what spider man is. at all. its an unapealing love story, with two depressed unapealing leads, and pussysypmathectic villains.

Wait. What exactly was wrong with the villains?

I dont know if it was just because it was a lame film or because everybody said how amazing it was... It sucked :(

Yeah. You and me, we're gonna have problems now. :o

The Question said:
So? Was it supposed to be shocking?

twists usually are and given the way it was set up making us believe he was in prison, I'm sure in some manner it was intended to shock

I don't think it was meant to be shocking. Just something we didn't expect.

The Question said:

shocks are things we don't expect

But not everything we don't expect is shocking. Shock tends to be a much more extreme thing than simply seeing something you didn't expect to see.
