The "I hated Spider-Man 3" Thread!

It seems like a lot of people don't like ths movie because of so called "plot holes" that are just them not inferring enough about plot devices.

Dancing Emo Spidey. Don't forget that one.

if Harry didn't stop Huge Sandman, peter would of been effing dead literally

It felt a little wierd to me, like there wasn't a central villain. You know?

You could say out of the characters, the symbiote was the main villain. But the abstract, focused evil in the movie, was bad choices.

That's what makes the emo dancing Peter even worse.

The terrible emo-dancer cookie-eater milk-drinker villiain.
let me fix it up for you

The terrible emo-dancer cookie-eater milk-drinker crying villain

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

I was thinking more along the lines of the aggressive, murdering, womanzing, abusing, blow-off-half-my-friend's-face type villain.

the bold one is good, but the ones before that made me laugh

Aggressive - his fight with Sandman, his fight with Harry, his fight in the jazz club
Murdering - even though Sandman didn't die, Pete thought he killed him
Womanizing - how women did Peter openly flirt with? not to mention his dance with Gwen in front of MJ
Abusing - laid MJ the **** out

People only seem to focus on those three minutes of Peter strutting down the street, and ignore all the legitimately bad things he did with the black suit on.

i can agree with that but i think Pete's been aggressive in all 3 movies

Guilty as charged. But my main problem isn't his black suit attitude, it was the fight scenes and storyline. The fight with Harry at the beginning was good but after that, there were no more good fights. I thought that if the first fight was good the rest would be great... I was wrong. And the story just was all over the place, Peter was sad one moment and then he was mad, then he was feeling great, and then he was sad.

Yeah, and he felt no remorse for it.
I completely agree Blader.

agreed

Let's say I give you all that. Why the F@#* did Peter let the Sand Man just leave after he has robbed how many banks, shot his uncle, and tried to kill him?

And if he didn't say it nonchalantly, how did he say it? Full of zeal?

And on a side note, I want you to continue to convince me this movie wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I wanted to love it so much, but ended up just living with it wanting it to be so much better. Unfortunately no amount of discussion can change Peter's hair style in the emo parts.

honestly how the hell is that emo? the hair doesn't even go past his eye or cover the side of his face. ppl need to get over themsleves.

Go watch the scene where Peter arrives in Harrys mansion right before they fight. I cringed when I saw his hair almost half of his face. And what the hell was up with the mascara he had on? If they wanted to make him seem "darker" just give him black circles under his eyes.

(btw idk which is the creepiest, the kid or the elmo)

Wtf are you talking about?

Blader **** for a sec. It seems like every time you respond to somebody, its always with negativity.

Ahem
I'm talking about the mascara he had on his eyes every time he had the symbiote.

He might as well be

Yeah, if you watch the scene again, you'll see he isn't wearing mascara.
Uh yea he is go watch the movie again, he clearly has mascara on. Dunsts even said so in an interview before as well.

Well, it wasn't that much. When you think of it you remember him with heavy mascara, but it's alot less noticeable when you really watch it.

At what point did I say he had "heavy mascara" on? Oh yea thats right, I never said it. I'm not gonna go into a debate about how much or how little, but he definitly had enough on to make it noticeable in the first place.
