Has Spiderman ever defeated Venom in a fight?

what i would like to see is a repeat of the sequence from spider-man 1 where GG was beating the crap out of him, but this time its venom, and then venom starts saying just like GG did how he was gonna get aunt my and mary jane, and like in spidey 1 peter flips out and starts beating the crap out of him, but then unlike GG who was beaten by this, venom just smiles back after the beating and punches him in the face

Mmm I like your Idea, but instead of Venom just being beat up then smile (Him and carnage always have a big smile: http://www.ultimateart.com/SteveKaufman/images/Venom288.jpg) I think at the end, Venom gets electrocuted(Like in Ultimate Spider-Man game) or getscaught in an big explosion. Spider-Man then thinks that Venom's gone but soon, you see a strange figure (Eddie Brock). He is looking at a newspaper (SPider-Man front page). He smiles, then crunches the paper, then walks away.

How do we know that Venom's going to be in this one and not just the symbiote?

Spider-man only beat Venom 1 time solo in amazing spiderman #300 Where he kept cutting Venoms webbing till he ran out and fell off a skyscraper which knocked him out. he was then carried away in a glass cage by the fantastic 4.

No. He's never beaten Venom. Which is why I hate every Venom story ever written. They make Spidey into a wuss (That entire David Michelinie run had Spidey as a punk-ass). Spidey is supposed to be the guy who finds a way to stop his foes. But in te case of Venom he just knuckled under and let Venom kick his ass. It's disgusting. But I'm sure that Raimi, who doesn't like Venom to begin with, will have Spidey open a can a' whoop-ass on him.

Check out Venom's last series, issue #16, to see Spidey finally (and literally) put Eddie through a wall.

venoms webbing..... ran out??

symbiote webbing is made out of the symbiote. Everytime he uses it, Venom is trowing a way a small part of him, it regenerates later. Spidey outsmarted Venom, making him shoot a lot webbing. The symbiote couldn't regenerate on time and Venom was weaker.

Here's another topic. Tounge or no tounge. In issue 299, 300 and I believe a couple more after that Venom didn't have a big tounge. He just grinned alot. Now, in the movie do you think he'll have a tounge? I think he will.

I'm going to agree with you, in most if not all of his past incarnations he has always had the trademark tongue... (Videogames, Television, etc)

Venom a nutter he may be but he ist all that evil soooooooo i think they will play it by getting venom to help Spidy beat the other 3 villans at the end and then Spidy 4 will focus on Spiderman and Venom.
