very good movie seems like people were destined to hate it. I just wish venom had got more screentime and the villains were more evil but apart from that it was good

I can't take that topic seriously seeing as the tc is either 1-completely devoid of any comic book or t.v. spider-man knowledge or 2-ranting on it for the sake of ranting. Hell most of them are. Someone actually complained about the music played when Spidey had the black suit. WTH?! Now we're complaining about the music? I'm pretty sure alot of people don't like rap, but that never stopped Romeo must die, Blade, Blade2, Cradle to the Grave, ect. from being well recieved movies.

but this is no x3 (FAR from it) it's just not as good as spidey 2 and seeing as spidey 2 is widely regarded as the best superhero movie ever this is certainly no disgrace.
to mention batman and robin and x3 in the context of spidey 3 is a frigging insult.

I loved this one. The best out of the three. Sure it was loads more cheesy but I enjoyed the cheese.

The way Venom was beat was awesome.

Harry coming to Pete's rescue for the first time was the best part in all three films.

The fight in the mansion was superb.

The comedy was really comedic.

Topher was perfect as Brock.

Venom was underutilised but he did the job.

Also with regards to Spider-Man letting Sandman go? Well firstly he was a little depressed over the imminent death of his friend...also normal Spidey has little chance of catching Sandman - in the first fight he got battered.

Some people take superhero movies to seriously, I liked the portrayal of bad Peter, I loved the action aside from some dodgy CGI scenes.

I think the film could do with a extended edition with about 30 minutes of extra footage.

Just because SM3 didn't exceed SM2 (actually, I thought it did...but it didn't exceed SM1), doesn't mean that it's a bad movie.

If SM2 is considered the best, and SM3 is only a notch or two below it, doesn't that still make SM3 one of the elite?

Sanctuary... comically enough, if you check the polls- the people who liked/loved it (not counting the 10s) far than outnumbers those ranking it below a 7. And, I'm betting you- MOST of those- would rank it that before they even saw the film (J. Howlett, Weyseed, Mr. 7000 - their views on the franchise or this film was decided upon before they even saw it).

Why are those who "hate" something always more verbal? Because, we clearly outrank them in the polls-
