The "I loved Spider-Man 3" Thread!

I absolutely loved it. I'll have a review soon, but I'll rate the films compared with Spidey 3.

Out of *****

Spider-Man: ***
Spider-Man 2: ****
Spider-Man 3: *****

Dont love but like it. Wont be picking it up on DVD.

Was there a lot of people at the theater Guardian? And what time did you go?

YEAH IT WAS PACKED!!! I WENT LAST NIGHT TO THE MIDNIGHT SHOW AND THIS MORNING AT 11 A.M.!!! IT WAS A FUN RIDE!!!:D:up:

It has a very purposeful prevalent 80s and 70s type feel... that I think may throw many people for a loop the first time seeing it. Seeing it a second time, knowing what I'm in store for- great.

I havent seen the movie yet but it seems like a lot of people on these boards hated the movie. There has to be someone on here who liked the movie. POST NOW!!!!!! I want to be hyped a few hours before I see the movie.
Never mind these ungrateful meats grabbing pinhead!
I haven't seen the movie yet!
But their negative comments proves once again that this movie must be the cream of the crop
Therefore I can’t wait to see it!

AT A BOY, GO GET'EM TIGER!!!:oldrazz::D:up:

I liked it. I thought it was very good there were alot of things I would of liked to have seen done differently, but still very good. I thought it was better than the second one but not as good as the first.

I really liked it for sure better than X3

- I loved this movie!! The first aerial fight between Goblin and Peter was not amazing, but very well choreographed.
- I've always liked Aunt May's long speeches (in 1, 2, and now 3) I think they're meant to remind Peter of where he comes from, and how he was raised.
- The origin of the symbiote was fine with me. Who said that it HAD to come back with astronauts? Since the symbiote was a thinking organism, I bet it knew that Peter had to discover the darker side of being Spider-Man in order for him to more appreciate how he normally acts towards situations.
- I went with my friend last night, and when Peter pushed MJ at the jazz club, and when Harry told Pete that he was the other guy, my friend said "Son of a b*tch" at both instances.
-Brock should've lived. I thought he was going to until he ran in front of the pumpkin bomb.
-Harry's death got me and my friend a little choked up.

*Spider-Man 1- 10 of 10
*Spider-Man 2- 9 out of 10
*Spider-Man 3- 9 1/2 out of 10 (slightly better than the 2nd installment)

HI GUYS, I JUST GOT BACK FROM MY SECOND VIEWING OF THE MOVIE AND I GOTTA SAY I ENJOYED IT TEN TIMES MORE THAN I DID LAST NIGHT AT THE MIDNIGHT SHOW!!!:yay: LAST NIGHT SOME IDIOTS WOULDN'T SHUT UP THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE, SO I NEVER REALLY GOT INTO IT!!! SO I WENT BACK THIS MORNING FOR MY SECOND VIEWING AND THE AUDIENCE WAS MUCH BETTER BEHAVED AND I REALLY GOT INTO THE MOVIE AND LOVED IT, YES EVEN THE CORNY PARTS!!! :oldrazz: IT'S NOT PERFECT, BUT IT SURE AS HELL ISN'T AS BAD AS SOME ARE MAKING IT OUT TO BE, THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND I'M STICKING TO IT!!!:o:oldrazz: I'M GOING TO SEE IT AGAIN TOMORROW WITH MY 2 COUSINS AND THE OLDER ONE'S GIRL FRIEND, ANYWAY I LOVED IT 10/10!!!:D:up:
LMAO! I saw it twice already today, and I'm taking my brother tomorrow. I too thought it was better on the second viewing.I loved it the first time. I think it's the best one in the trilogy. Considering they deleted 10 to 20 minutes of footage,I thought it was quite an impressive end product. Can't wait for the DVD, and the apparent release of Spider-Man 3.1

when I when't to the midnight premiere last night (I was first in line!!!) I knew I was in for a great movie. and quite frankly I got that. an amazing movie that will satisfy all of us hardcore fans

I love the look of Venom. He was exactly how I hoped he looked. The only negative, besides not enough of Venom, was that venom didn't tell spidey"you can call us venom"

i couldn't help but burst into laughter when spidey yells shazzam! at the celebration and does his little pose. haha awesome :)

spider man 3 was okay.....

i was kind of disapointed at this but it was ok and ill get it on dvd def.

Spider-man: 9/10
Spider-man 2: 8/10
Spider-man 3: 6.5/10

Spider Man - 8/1-
Spider Man 2 - 5/10
Spider Man 3 - 9/10

I gave each Spider-Man film 10/10, but if you're doing a comparison over the whole trilogy.

Spider-Man: 7
Spider-Man 2: 9
Spider-Man 3: 10

I thought Spider-Man 2 was much better than Spider-Man, but this one; Spider-Man 3, was marginally better. I liked Venom in it,but he did seem rushed. Raimi didn't want him in the movie anyway,so I'm not surprised it was a li'l rushed lol.

-Harry's death got me and my friend a little choked up.

I agree. Raimi, his brother and Alvin Sargent really wrapped up Harry's subplot beautifully, if anything else. Harry Osborn's subplot was one of the highlights of the film.

Spidey 3 is awesome! Better than Spidey 2 but not the original. What I enjoyed about Spidey 3 is that we see Peter finally being happy then suddenly everything goes wrong for him.

Thats classic Spider-Man.

I also love emo/symbiote Peter. All those scenes were awesome!

LAST NIGHT SOME IDIOTS WOULDN'T SHUT UP THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE,

The same thing happened to me at Dolphin. lol.

Saw it..Loved it.

Only complaint was that Venom felt a bit rushed. Other then that I thought it was great. Some of the movements made by Spidey in the movie were just jaw dropping (Saving Gwen).

I don't know why some people laugh at Peter crying. A superhero can't be heartbroken?

yeah seriously! when he started crying when mj broke up with him, people at my theater were like "F*G!". and i was just thinking "either they're denying that they'd actually cry if someone they truly loved broke up with them or they're really heartless." and when pete forgave sandman, people were like "aw what a f*g! P*ssy!", that flippin pissed me off too. i was like "these people obviously weren't watching when aunt may said that uncle ben would not want any of us to have revenge in our hearts" so all in all:

-Peter is NOT p*ssy/f*g. in fact, i think him forgiving sandman took much more b*lls than just beating the crap outta him.after all... Fighting someone is not as hard as forgiving them.

*rant over*

I thought the cry was fitting when MJ broke up with him and any one who made fun of it is an immature person. Now I will have to admit I thought the whole end of the Peter/Sandman thing was cheap and pathetic. I wouldn't go as far as saying *** or P*ssy but it was really weak. My biggest complaint about it was that Peter just let him go.
