The "I loved Spider-Man 3" Thread!

Even though I knew it was going to happen, I felt bad for Harry :( .

First time I felt bad for a character in a comic-adaptation since the kryptonite ass-kicking and hospital scenes in Superman Returns.

I just couldn't stop laughing when he was goggling over Harry, it looked stupid as hell, the worse acting in the entire film. I fell out of my seat laughing uncontrollably.

Yeah, I'm sure that did happen.

he didn't cry like that when his uncle died

Yes he does. It's actually the same face he makes in SM3.

You guys blow the crying thing way out of proportion. In a 140 minute film, all of the crying/dancing/singing/child acting/"emo" scenes add up to about 10 minutes. It's pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of the movie.

Colour me shocked :cwink:

Strawman much?

Spiderman 3 also needed more of a story. I kind of liked the one they gave but it can always be better.

Spider-Man 3 had a good story, it just wasn't built up right because of all the characters and villians being main characters.

I would actually say he cried more/harder over Uncle Ben, which would be natural IMO, I hate to say it, but it his harder to lose a family member, especially a close one, than it is to lose a friend IMO. I know, I have lost both in the last few years.

True. To many villains in one movie to keep it at its fullest.

No thats not what hes saying, hes saying that there were too charcters and villains being the focal point of the story (i.e. being main characters). The amount of villains was fine, just the exectution that was the problem.

i agree, losing a "father" is worse than loseing your best friend

I wasn't saying that he was saying that....Thats what I was saying.....

I saw the movie for the 10th time last week... It was the last night it was playing at the dollar theatre. It's completely gone from the big screen now. :(

I still enjoyed it... laughed, jumped, and cried at the end. The action scenes started getting easier to follow. (That the action was blurry and hard to see was one of my main complaints.)

The friend I took (not particularly a Spidey fan) went as a favor to me, but ended up LOVING it! She is still raving about how much she enjoyed the movie and can't wait to get ALL the Spider-Man movie DVDs. :) Cool. A convert.

After I watched this movie on DVD again, I can say this again

I LOVE SPIDER-MAN 3!!! :D

I've noticed that a lot of people who have seen the movie again on DVD seem to think more highly of it than when they saw it in theatres....

Interesting.....*strokes chin*

I'm really glad you loved it. I love it when people say theyl oved Spider-Man 3. :yay::up:

Me too. I love Spider-Man 3 as well. I love the whole damn trilogy! This movie also helped me at school too. I had effective speaking and my persuasive speech was "Why you should give Spider-Man 3 another chance" A- on the sucka. Whoa! Thanks spidey!

I think that probably the reason some people didn't like it when they first saw it was because they had such HIGH hopes going in and when the film didn't meet their personal expectations, then they hated it. But after "calming down" about it(so to speak),and watching it again, they are finally starting to see that while it wasn't quite what they expected, that it's still a hell of a good film.
Spider-man 3 definetly rocks!!:woot:
